Haha I believe it! I have a few nurses who use the phone as a call light, and they'll call all night long for frivolous things... but I'll still take that over having to respond to an over-needy patient!

Aren't there call lights to answer? At our facility, we have pts. that will ring them every 5 minutes.

Actually he is 2 months shy of his 20th birthday. Struggling with college, but not giving up.

hey barbara, do you and your grandson still play pokemon? they just released some information on new games coming out next fall, including the three new starters. :P I'll try to find the picture...

I haven't played a pokemon game since the ones that came out on gameboy advance, but a lot of people on my facebook have been pretty excited about it. lol. and the fond memories of my past obsession keep me interested enough to stay updated on the new generations.

Sean beat the latest game, but I am still working on Pokemon Black 2.

yeah! they gave me a really intense list of various immunizations I had to get, and then sent me like six "reminder" emails basically saying they weren't shy about showing anyone the door who dared to show up to orientation without all the proper paperwork. I mean guys you made the 25 worst hospitals list, should you really be this picky!? :P

You would think they'd understand that students have highly, highly irregular schedules. And it's not like one couldn't get the immunizations after you've started.

So I gather that he finished his GED. That's great to hear that he's enrolled in college. It sounds to me like he may be a really late bloomer but he'll figure out things for himself eventually, I think?
