They were all pretty much "how would you handle or what would you do in this type of situation". It was a bit tough, but I just answered to the best of my ability. I was surprised considering it's just a printing/mailroom technician job, nothing managerial. They said they would be in contact, so I'm assuming probably sometime this week. I'm hoping to get the job, it would be nice.

So how's everyone doing? I've been having some type of cold bug trying to get into or over take my system. No major symptoms yet, but I feel the beginning of it.
good luck to you, lori! I hope you get it. coincidentally enough, my high school was in sunnyvale. :P

speaking of school, I need to get to work on my presentation.. I said I would send my powerpoint slides to my group member at 10. and I've barely started. -___-

I thought to myself 'Aha....now I know why there are no mice around....that snake is doing its job!

I'd love to have a gopher snake or two around, but not rattlers. The gopher snakes are pretty mellow; if you spend some time with them they'll even let you pick them up. Rattlers are a different story.......
Yeah, don't care for rattlers. Hubby use to catch them and put them in his lunch box when we lived at Eagle Mountain. He's bring home King snakes too. Those I didn't mind. In fact one got lose in our house... it was running around for about 2 weeks I think... until one night we were sitting on the couch watching tv and I saw a head peeking out from behind the tv.... I went flying across the living room, hubby thought I had lost my mind until I got ahold of the snake and pulled it from behind the tv! Since they are harmless and eat bugs and stuff, I didn't mind it being lose.

Thanks Pengy! Then maybe you can give me a better understanding of why they make the questions so hard? Or at least it was to me. They asked my typical work load for the day, how I would handle working safely, how I would handle working with a difficult person, what would I do to get their on time. My experience in interviews is tell me what you did in your previous job, why did you leave, and do I have experience with such and such. I guess I felt put on the spot for this entire interview.

I pretty told them my workload varies, we had monthly safety meetings, I focus on the project or issue and not the person to get the job done so as not to cause conflict, and that I left 2 hours early to get to the interview on time and it turned out I only needed an hour. So we'll see if they like me or not. To me it's either you like me or you don't and you either hire me or you don't. I don't want to stress about it and I try not to have my hopes set high on it.
