I felt like that right after dinner, but got a second wind at 8pm. When I finally went to bed I read, until I told myself it was getting late and I had to wait to finish. I avoided watching the clock, but the way I feel this morning I may of been up until 2 or 3.

I think everyone should work retail and food service. Just for little 3-6 months periods. It would make buying things a better experience for everyone after they see the other side.

If I could start over, I would work at McDonalds when in High School.

I agree with this. I worked at Claim Jumper's for 3 months about 15 years ago...I realized it wasn't for me. But I've also worked at Auntie Anne's in a mall and Camelot Records (before they closed shop) in the same mall. I was only about 19 and realized...retail wasn't for me.

BTW Swampy, I'm happy to see you posting with the RCMC regularly.

Re: RCMC #125: Dude, Where's My Burger?

It's a cold morning, about 35 or so when I left the house.

Amazing how one accident on the freeway can double the time it takes to get to your destination. Pretty frustrating. California needs to change the rules for obtaining a drivers license. You should need a score of at least 85% to pass not 70%. You should also have to retake your driving test every 3 years. That and you should have to take a defensive driving class when your at fault in the accident. You would see less accidents and better drivers out there. I observe people making the most idiotic moves all the time and can't for the life of me figure out how they obtained a drivers license.

Anyway enough complaining about that Still waiting to hear back from the school district. Maybe I'll get a phone call or email from them today. Hoping not to get the "we regret to inform you" letter.

I agree about retail, its a tough industry to work in. You have to like people and know how to deal with the public. I worked it when I was in highschool and for a few years after that.
