I always have trouble copy and pasting stuff. My computer wants to do the whole thing, and won't let me leave anything off. I am so terrible at that. That's why I very seldom start a thread. Sometimes, I will if someone else wants to do the list. It has become a tradition, and I am all for tradition.
I need to read back.
Sara, I think its great you got to see a horse. They are rare in the City parts.
I know off the 15, just after the 15 passes the 210 frwy, there is a small "farm" that has donkeys that we go to visit every once in a while. Sometimes, we take them carrots and feed them. There are 4 of them.
yes an actual horse, we have them in the area i live, people have them in their backyards(some of them).. we have horse trails all through my neighborhood.. and not all the time do i see a horse on the trail i was on. They don't ride all the time near the horse trails near my house but on the other ones that are closer to the equestrian center (yeah we got one)..but the one i was on at the end of it was a riding corral and the kid was taking his gorgeous tan horse for a run in the corral..LOL
this was looking out from the riding corral..in the background there if you can see is the 5 freeway.. JUST right at the 2nd bar from the top of the corral..
regarding the list of names, it's been there before I joined up (around 2009) and back when I was more active, they had me keep a written record for archives. I think I still have it on index cards somewhere.
Anyhow, Sara, so what were you trying to say to me again? ;)
and btw, there's an equestrian center and horse trails in Griffith Park near where I live so I see breathing horses as well sometimes :p
It's the non-breathing horses you need to look out for. They're freaky.
Brandon, I love your shoes!! I want some Disney ones like that! Although, I don't usually wear my chucks to the park. Not enough padding for me!
we have our OWN equestrian center Brandon, with boarding stalls and everything! even jumping set ups! oooh! and one person has Alpaca's in their backyard and goats! speaking of Alpaca's they are soo cute! and soo nice and lovey!
When I first started my job, one of the attorneys went to another country (totally forget where) and brought me back a beautiful and soft Alpaca fur scarf (NO ALPACA'S WERE HARMED TO MAKE THE SCARF, he told me they shave the fur)
I wear it to my hockey games because its the color of the team.
