I ate an absolutely delicious Hawaiian cheeseburger, and sweet potato fries. I started with plain water and switched to a nice hot cup of tea, as the night turned cooler.

Oh I'm glad you liked the burger Barbara. I felt responsible for claiming that it came with mushrooms and it didn't so sorry about that!

The nice thing is that is was not spicy. It had the right combination of pineapple, bacon, and teriyaki sauce.

heading out to the grocery store. I'm trying to expand my culinary horizons, since I pretty much just make the same handful of meals all the time (mostly stir fries at that lol). today I'm going to try a potato leek soup, since it looks really easy, along with being pretty cheap and healthy.


I'm also trying to get a gig as a comedy writer for a blog site that advertised on craigslist. I sent in an application & writing samples last night, and they got back to me today asking for specific pitches/outlines, etc. so I guess I will work on that this evening. unlike the other freelance job I have, this one would actually pay me. $150 a week, aaaah yeah. lol

I commonly look at the weekend box office results, and have noticed nothing has been really hitting it out of the park, for weeks now.

I agree that the zombie thing is way overdone, but I'm okay with the World War Z film, since it's based on a novel that came out like seven years ago or something. I've never read it, but I've heard good things.
