Jobs are so hard for kids to find nowadays. I remember the days when you went to a place talked to the boss, and sometimes you were hired on the spot. Now everything is internet, and multiple interviews. Then they pay you peanuts, and no benefits even whenyou are there a long time.

My mom worked in a movie theatre when she was a girl.

Hockey is a great sport, and a lot of girls play floor hockey in the suburban schools in Chicago.

You might get a kick out of this. It's from one of those dance shows they had in the early days of TV. And it's a really good song by the Diamonds.

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

    Good music is timeless.

That show gives "low budget production" a whole new meaning.

Actually, it did! That way, next time I see it, I can throw all of the above at the set.

I can't remember the last time that I ate fish. Not a regular part of my diet.

They look so unhappy. Was it made in Russia? Where is the good old fashioned rock and roll?

Actually I like fish, but my husband does not. So unless I order it out, I never make it at home. My husband claims it stinks up the house. Actually it's my neighbor who does that when she cooks fish, which is a lot.
