Re: RCMC 128: New Faces And Old Friends!
that's funny, I'm also probably going to have In N Out for dinner
Re: RCMC 128: New Faces And Old Friends!
I think I told Jim that he reminds me of my dad. They have a lot of the same qualities.
Of course, I can't imagine my dad posting on MiceChat, since he passed away in 1967.
He only went to the 6th grade in school, and he was a waiter. I guess that way he could always find a job. He traveled all over the country, before he married my mom.

That's a great story. Thanks! And if he passed away in 1967, depending on how old he was.....does that make him born before 1900!?!

Re: RCMC 128: New Faces And Old Friends!
My dad was a young man of 53 when he died. He was a heavy smoker. Both of my 2 brothers also died as a direct result of their cigarette habits as well. Both of my 2 boys smoke. I fear losing them to the same habit. The saddest moment was when I had to tell my mother that her son had passed away from a heart attack. It crushed her, and she turned to alcohol. Which is why I have strong feelings about both habits. Although, I respect a person's right to choose for themselves. Some people drink responsibly. Cigarettes don't kill everyone, of course, but personally I don't get how anyone ever puts those terrible things in their mouth.
My problem is food, and lack of exercise. No one is perfect after all.

My grandfather died also in 1967, at the age of 51. Same habits. He was the first father I ever knew.

My dad smokes all of the time, and I can never get him to even try to stop :(

My dinner was highly influenced by RCMC tonight. I almost order pizza but instead ran over to In n Out.
