Ah yeah, I haven't been to one in a few years either so I have no idea how they are now except for what I catch on TV for you tube.

Yes Fridays are good. Except when one is so exhausted and one has lots of things to do over the weekend :P

Eh, the coverage on TV of those cons is usually terrible though.

Some weekends I wished I could just stare at a wall all weekend. I'm so exhausted. But some how I keep trucking.

Busy day tomorrow. Tonight is Benihana's..yum! Then tomorrow is new jeans and shoes for the boy then skating lessons then off to the Parks for the last Saturday that his AP is not blocked out....until August. Not really liking that and I STILL think that Disney should create a Kid's version of the PAP. Just without the discounts and parking. THere would be no block out days but it will be a bit cheaper.

Leather is a specialty item? Is this for the Dr. Strange costume? Do you make your own?

We use leather to make parts of our costumes, armor/clothing pieces ect

So we have to go to a leatherworking store.

I'm hanging in there...my fingernails are almost gone, but I'm still hanging at the moment. =)

Grandma is still in critical condition. She developed a staph infection, so she's in isolation now. They can't seem to stabilize her for long periods at a time....that's the latest.

    Very very interesting...

You know if I was able to create or have made a full costume just for me...hmm well in all honesty, I would go as a Ghostbuster. Not joke. That movie/s was my youth. Well either that or something from Legend of Zelda. That game was my childhood as well.

I am sorry to hear this.

My Grandma passed in 2008. She was a trooper though. But she was already full deep into dementia and barely remembered any of us. But she hung in there.
