OK, so I've been taking a trip down amnesia lane...

When I was little my grandpa used to listen to Ray Stevens cassette tapes...I've been looking up the YouTube videos for some of the songs I remember him enjoying...Oh. My. God. So ridiculous...I had forgotten just how bad those were. But I have good memories of him enjoying them, so they still make me smile.

Nope. Not staying onsite. We are staying at a hotel called Bonnet Creek, and we are going to both the Disney Parks, and Universal. So we absolutely need a car.

You have something to play casettes in? That is wild.

I was thinking today if I know anyone who might have a disk drive in a computer that is also attached to the internet.

Is it the Windham on points? That's my real guess.

I think they have Hertz located at the Hilton there, which may be a little walk. You can shuttle to the Diney parks.

It may work out cheaper to use that Hertz and only rent a car for the USO day and an airport trip.

Otherwise try priceline for MCO and see if you can score a deal.

Mears Transport runs those. Not sure if they go to the Bonnet Creek Resorts. Bonnet Creek not being a part of WDW may have other transport options. If you look at $35 per person, and some airport tranportation around $35 too.

Sounds good. I had chicken, baked in italian dressing, some baked potatos and a shredded carrot and raison salad. I made plenty of the salad and an extra chicken breast for round two.

    Jim
Mears has a contract with Disney to operate all the transportation. They run the shuttles and taxis at the resort. Operate the Disney Cruise Line Transport, and supplement the WDW Transport Sytem with their buses at peak times.

To judge shuttles/taxis vs renting a car it can depend. Basically to get to and from the airport is $35 per person and likewise from WDW to the other area parks $35 per person. Some people prefer to drive to the parks than drive to them from their onsite hotels. It takes time to pick up and return rental cars at MCO the Orlando airport. For offsite trips to Universal, Seaworld and other places sometime ticket and tranpostation packages work out well.

The Bonnet Creek hotels have their own shuttle system to get their guest to the parks.. Bonnet Creak is an inholding inside WDW.
