**WARNING!! Really creepy spider picture below**
So here is a picture of the camel spider/sun scorpion/spawn of Satan that I found in my shower a few years ago. We had just come back from a trip, I got in the shower, and I looked down and found this guy on his back with his legs wiggling wildly in the air. I had knocked him off the curtain without realizing it. He was about 5 or 6 inches and extremely aggressive. My husband, of course, bought a little tank to keep him in but he died not long after. Scariest bug I have seen in my life YET! And yes, this is the pic of the actual demon that was in MY shower!

On the subject of creepy escaping wild life...When I was taking marine biology, we had a few marine life creatures in our lab that we were responsible for taking care of. We had to feed and record how much food the animals were receiving and keep track of the ordering/inventory of food. We kept coming up short on the fish food and we couldn't figure it out, because who would steal dead fish parts? We decided to put cameras in the lab to catch whoever it was. Well...it turned out that our very crafty octopus was getting out of her aquarium and getting into the food stores! We had to create a special tank for her, as she kept figuring ways to get out. Smart little bugger. At least she wasn't a spider. If I knew I had a spider loose in the house, I think I'd move.
Hiya Ashley!!
And how are you this evening?
♥ "Don't care about all the pain in front of me'Cause I'm just trying to be happy." ♥
oo Kelly. Spider pics. eh they don't bother me, it's the snacks and the reptiles that do..LOL
That is one of the coolest stories ever!! I've seen a few documentaries on how intelligent octopus (octopi?) are. They have got to be one of the coolest animals on Earth!
For some reason the tarantula doesn't scare me, I almost think it's kind of cute... However, when I stumble across him unexpected I'm sure I'll be whistling a different tune.
That camel spider, though, made me want to burn down the whole apartment building. We moved shortly after!
Yeah... it was a monster to me! I guess it's not considered a spider because it doesn't have 8 eyes or whatever spiders are supposed to have, and although it looks like 8 legs I think 2 are considered antennae. So they somehow classify it as a scorpion? I don't know. I think it's an evil creature that shouldn't exist!
