    thanks!

it was! which makes me really happy! I can't believe I heard back so quickly. they must have liked me a lot. I was pretty confident about my interview, but I didn't really expect to get everything I wanted. my mind is reeling.

I guess real life is officially getting put on hold until at least January 2014.

I start in the fall, so I don't think spring break will occur during my short disney career. :P unless they hire me in a professional capacity afterward!

someone I know who has done the program says you are assigned your attraction[s] when you start, so I suppose I have a while to wait for that information. I think Jumpin Jellyfish would include working the other rides on Paradise Pier, which would be fine by me. the only area I would hesitate momentarily to work would be Tomorrowland, and that's only because they have pretty ugly costumes. lol.

I want to work Adventureland or New Orleans Square, though! Or Fantasyland. Or Main Street. Or Tower of Terror.

Only place I would be totally bummed about being assigned is Bug's Land, lol. eh, or Toontown.

My electrician told me that I really should put in all new wiring in my house. Of course, I can't afford that, so he's doing the best he can. Today's charges wern't too bad.

Yeah, I missed you guys too....

Work has been somewhat stressful lately. In the last month I've gotten two serious job offers. Both look pretty good.

I doubt I'll stay with the company I presently work for, I don't think much of the general direction they're going. They could turn around though......

My husband wanted to change jobs, but he's so close to retirement that he decided against that.

I ended up having to work. I don't know what the heck is going on at the hospital... its been a freaking zoo. The other tech called and asked if I could come in and save his life and the director said it was ok and I could stay as late as I wanted. End of shift was enough thank you. We got it caught up by then anyway although there were still 3 patients on hold in ER that we had no beds for.

We are suppose to be so much in debt that they were afraid they were going to have to close down and they sent out an email about losing Medi-Cal, Medicare payments but after reading the article in Time I don't really feel that sorry for them, yet they are still trying to hire more CNA's to get the ratio down to 10-1 for them... Its just nuts.

Wow... would the other jobs be where you are now or would you have to relocate?

I want to change jobs too, but I can't seem to beat the medical benefits I've got with this one, so I stay...its not the best reason to stay, but considering all the meds I take and doctors I see...well, it's reason enough.

Do the other two have similar prospects to your current company?

Yes, the electrician will continue working until all the work is done. There are 4 floors in my house, and he finished the basement today. So the first floor is tomorrow. He was promptly there at 9 a.m. today, and I expect the same tomorrow.
