Night everyone who's gone to bed. Hope you get rest and feel better tomorrow.

I didn't notice you. My neice had on a blue pretty basic dress and kind of big red hat and big sunglasses. She wore the same dress on Saturday too. My nephew and I dressed the same. Dark slacks, dark vest and a dark tie going into the vest, light blue for him and white for me shirt both with brown Agent P style hats.

I know guys may like that but this dress was really tactless...

Generally I feel the girls should go simple and not were something one of kind from a runway designer. Guys just wear tuxes try to stay classy too not glamorour.

As far as that gal, if you got, guys know without the need to show.

One things I realized as a teen, was you only know if a girl is pretty if you can see her wake up.

What happened is I had a friend with two younger sisters. His sisters looked great. I was about 16, the girls about 15-13 or maybe a year less. They were both really pretty, but then. I was there in the morning, not sure why, sleeping over or getting ready for an adventure. The older sister came downstairs without her makeup on, hair not fixed, and didn't look great at all. The younger sister barely wore makeup and still looked great. My view of them had completely changed.

Awesome younger sister and just ok older sister, even decades later. I'd been scammed. So now I don't measure a gals looks when out at night when they've spent and hour in front of a mirrow, in the morning.

yay friends! I'm glad there are people around tonight!

Swampy...one of the reasons I rarely wear makeup - I want people to be surprised in a good way when I actually put the effort into my appearance, instead of being surprised in a bad way when I don't. I have a friend who always put herself together really nicely. The one day she didn't, everyone was asking her if she was sick, or if she was OK. She was perfectly fine, she just decided to come to school in jeans and a sweatshirt that day, like the rest of us. That confirmed me in the notion that I was better off to just be me, and only do the makeup/nice clothes thing on special occasions.

    here's a picture from Dapper Day. :P

I'm in the very middle. none of us really went out of our way to buy things for this, so we just had to work with what we already had. and don't worry, we made fun of the guy in the sweater all day for his sad attempt at dapper. lol.

This is the exact reason why i don't wear makeup on a daily basis. One time, at a company xmas party...I, of course, dressed up, with makeup, and co-workers didn't recognize me! it was kinda cool

Right?!? On the rare occasions when I wake up early, I'll wear makeup to work. I get so many compliments, it's great...but I know if I did it every day, people would expect it of me and then...

I can't remember the last time I actually put any makeup on.... I don't think I'd remember how. I am the ultimate in casual.... don't fuss with my hair, don't wear makeup, don't follow the latest fashion trends and were pretty much what I'm comfortable in which is jeans and t shirts most of the time...

LOL! OK, if it was a Harry Potter thing, I forgive you. I'm a Gryffindor myself though...I know, who isn't? But I don't care enough about my school work to be a Ravenclaw, and I'm too much of an idealist to be Slytherin....maybe Hufflepuff, but...IDK, I think I have more gumption than that...hehe
