I always think that it would be a hassle and kind of damper the vacation, being limited on rides, not being able to ride with your spouse, etc. However, I have no kids yet. I am not passing judgement, just merely wondering.
Personally... I would never take a baby to Disneyland. But thats just a personal preference on my part. Our daughter was 3 before we took her for the first time, and we didn't use a stroller. Of course the first time was in July, during the 35th anniversary and it was insanely crowded and we only stayed a few hours.

I know a lot of people who have taken babies and have had a great time. They understand that its not the child per se who will have the memories, but the parents that will have the memories and the pictures of their child with the characters etc. I just personally would not want to deal with the diapers, not being able to do all the rides etc... but I also figure to each their own.

Her first trip... wish I had taken a lot more pictures...

Again, I don't see anything wrong with it. Just want to make that clear!
So would you pick DLR to take a baby or toddler, or
    Cruise to Alaska?
    How about Miami?
    Hiking the Grand Canyon?

At least one place is family and stroller friendly.

That's a good point about it being memories for the parent. My thought was always, "They won't even remember it!", but I'm totally a picture person so that's a good consideration.

I go on Etsy for inspiration for my own crafting sometimes. It's amazing how creative and talented some people are!

Honestly, I'd probably pick DLR and leave the baby behind!

I think it would make a big difference if it were a major trip, too. It's just a 5.5 hours drive, which would be doable with a kiddo, but if I had to pay their plane ticket and could only go once every few years, I'd want to be able to do as much as I could without worrying about diapers, rider swaps, etc.

Haha I'm sure my opinion will change once I have one of my own, though.

Re: RCMC #129 - We are on a mission!

sigh, Disneyland high has steadily diminished and now it's fully back in the real world.

week 8 of this quarter. two more, then finals week. lots of papers in between. I'm getting anxious about my phone interview as well. also going through some apartment drama regarding this summer (our subletters backed out so we're back to square one & I'm not sure where I'll be living this summer yet -- whether I'm staying at this place or not, etc.)

there's a couple things I should probably work on tonight so as not to fall behind, but I kinda need this evening to relax.

banana chips and Sufjan, ah yeah.
