Oh, is there a vaccine? NOW you tell me! I thought it was one of those incurable diseases, like the common cold, that you have to just wait out and push through. Maybe it's one you can sleep off? I think I'll give that last one a try here in the near future...

Yup, the Emperor's new Groove, and also the DMCA. It was mostly DMCA members who had those avatars. So we as good, card carrying members of the RCMC copycatted the Llama as our own.

Which, of course, is the reason that I have always rebelled against the entire idea.

Yes, it was an auxiliary one, like the Swine Flu vaccine. It didn't make it to all clinics, however, and was especially sparse in the most populated areas of the United States.

I do remember the DMCA having an Emperor's New Groove theme. I just didn't realize that the llama in the RCMC was inspired wholly by the Emperor's New Groove. But, as you explain, it was adapted to the RCMC, so -- perhaps -- it was more of a byproduct. For the most part, I remember real llamas being in our avatars/posts, though the Emperor did make an appearance or two in those early threads.

Dang...well I guess Obamacare needs to get on that! I mean now that my birth control is free, let's do something else with it and get those vaccines out to the masses! LOM (lack of motivation-itis) is just as deadly as swine flu, and infinitely more widespread.
