They're really fun!! I would have died in a costume today, the sun was beating down on us just in our normal clothes. I can't imagine how the people in costume must have felt!! There was one guy walking around in full metal armor. Crazy!

Yeah thats the thing... the really authentic ones have a LOT of fabric in them... I'd have to cheat and make a light weight version!

When I think of crepes, it reminds me of some my mom would make for me as a kid. I called them rolled pancakes. She filled them with sugar and I put maple on top. She eats hers with molasses. They were a special treat once in a while! Next time I'm there for breakfast, I need to ask her for some... She makes them for my husband and I once or twice a year. Delicious!

we're talking about crepes? I love them. I hate the fluffines/thickness of pancakes so crepes are perfect for me. :P

a crepe place just opened by campus actually. I guess I'll have to send some last minute texts in search of someone to check it out with me! wooo

My daughter made a ren style costume for Halloween one time... it was pretty simple and she make it out of lightweight muslin so it wasn't to bad. I think I still have the pattern but its not my size!

I guess since she was around it she just naturally did it. But she's a much better artist than me, which is why she majored in Art Education in school. I just did art classes in high school.
