Internet friendships are awesome. It's why I post here in the RCMC...I think part of the joy of Internet relationships is the anonymity...I mean sure, you all know my real name and where I work and the city in which I live, but...you only know the parts of me that I choose to share (which, admittedly, are sometimes the most real parts of me BECAUSE I feel safe here because of the anonymity factor). And while I realize that this is a public forum...IDK, I guess since you don't have to put up with my antics on a day-to-day basis, you don't get as annoyed with me as people I see every day IRL. (Don't get me wrong, I have wonderful friends IRL as well...but...well it's just different). And especially because I am so much more articulate in writing than I am speaking, you get more of my actual thoughts than my real-life friends.

Same. I am very quiet IRL. I think it makes people uncomfortable sometimes. I definitely live in my own world, and don't really speak unless I have something to say. The exceptions are when I have too much caffeine or too much alcohol. At which point: enter the verbal incontinence.
