Re: Earning My E-Ticket in 10 words or more.

When my grandson was younger he never wanted to go to sleep at night. There were times when he spent the night, and we would be up late together watching Vault Disney.

I really got into staying up late with Sean and watching some of the same stuff I remember watching when I was a kid.

One of Sean's favorites, and mine was the Zorro series.

This video shows Zorro, The Mouseketeers, and Walt Disney himself.

I even crocheted my grandson a stuffed Zorro during that time period.

They replayed favorite stories such as the Applegate Mystery with the Hardy boys.

Here is the intro for the Applegate Mystery series that I remember being a regular part of the Mickey Mouse Club show.

Tim Considine was one of the Hardy Boys, and the other one was played by Tommy Kirk.

Tommy Kirk was never really one of my favorites, and of course Tim Considine later went on to play Spin, on Spin and Marty.

The Hardy Boys, and Spin and Marty would appear as small segments of the Mickey Mouse Club. You had to tune in each and every day that they were on to follow the story. Kind of a kid's soap opera type thing.

This video is really great. It is an interview with the actors who played Spin and Marty.

Of course Spin and Marty ended up fighting over Annette on the series, which I thought was kind of ridiculous at the time.

If you grew up during the time of Spin and Marty, you couldn't help but love this song.

I can't remember Tim Considine, and not think about how he played Mike on My Three Sons.
