Soldier Filed, -10 degrees, winds from the north blowing at 25mph, Wind-chill factor -30.

That's what I remember from watching the Bears late in December.

I have the best seat. Nice and warm at home.

Chicago is leading at the moment, 17 to 14.

I always felt Bear's fans were the most loyal. Anyone that can sit outside and watch a game for hours and freeze to death, has to be loyal!

The Bears are winning! You and your husband must be excited Barbarann.

I have a lot of errands tomorrow - dentist, then to the pet store to pick up the photos of the pets with Santa and get some more salmon oil for their food, then Target to get 2 presents for a White Elephant party this weekend and lastly grocery shopping. Whew!

    Coffee icecream on apple pie?

Guess that's no stranger than my chicken and waffles, that my husband teases me about.

My husband has long ago went to bed. He leaves for work at 3 a.m. Actually, he rarely watches the Bears. They make him too nervous. He is a strange Chicago fan. He rarely watches any of them play.

Then we can always move on to other things.

Like what do you want Santa Claus to bring you for Christmas?

I really don't care much what Santa brings me, I'll be with family that I love.

It doesn't get much better than that.

Geeze.... I do not miss shoveling snow. Pretty to look at but....

Hubby was talking about making chili. But he has to make two different batches. One thats edible, and one that will singe the hair off your nose from 100 yards away.

And yes... I eat the wimpy one.

Funny I could've did a sub job today out in San Jose but said no I'm going to do the testing for this job since its close to home if I can get it. When I walked in and saw the amount of people, I thought maybe I should've went and did the sub job even though it was only for 1 day. Ehh we'll see what happens….

Still in a cold freeze around the Bay Area until tomorrow morning I think. Funny they keep extending it another day for the past few days. Unfortunately we can't burn any fires, so no fireplace tonight again. So the heater gets to stay on.
I will continue to think good thoughts for the job!! Sure there are a lot of people trying for it, but you could be just exactly what they are looking for!

Whoa.... that does sound like a busy day!! Somehow between jobs tomorrow I need to go to the bank and deposit a check from the insurance co. I thought they would pay my medical stuff directly, but they just sent a check to me. So I'll have to deposit it, then when I go to the hospital try to figure out where the finance office is (its not a big hospital, and just because I've worked there 20 years the keep moving the offices around) and pay off my ER and ER doc bill.

When my husband was working he had much the same schedule. He would be in bed by 8 and up by 3 or 4...

Don't know.... don't have my TV on. But one of the nurses I work with is a big Cowboy fan so she'll be disappointed that they lost. At least it sounds like they lost.

Got some stuff done today. Took gloves back to Big 5 to exchange them for a larger pair for son in law... of course they are out of the bigger ones. Not sure what I'll do about that since I need to get the stuff in the mail to them...

Worked on a project for school. The last couple of years one of my coworkers comes up with a theme and then we make things for that theme. Two years ago we each picked a reindeer's name out of a jar and made a deer (I got Dancer I think it was....). Last year we all make paper nutcrackers. This years theme.... snowmen. It was totally open as to how we wanted to do it. Here's mine. Paper mache light bulbs.

We've already picked next years theme coz I want to start early. Next year will be elves/pixies.
