Re: RCMC #134 You Have to Be a Little Crazy to Have A Lot of Fun

F! All I can do is to keep on keeping on!!!

Darn it... wish I could hang out but today kicked my butt. It was crazy fraking busy at the hospital. Last time I was there we had almost no patients. Today... bursting at the seams. And one of the other techs I think is about to go out on medical leave. Which will mean more hours for me but at the same time... I'm already exhausted.

And I have hit the wall so as much as I want to hang out and chat.... the bed beckons....

Ya gotta do what ya gotta do, Pengy. Taking care of your self is numero uno. Is it a full moon? Isn't that when hospitals fill up? Sleep well Pengy. Tomorrow is another day.

Re: RCMC #134 You Have to Be a Little Crazy to Have A Lot of Fun

My house is more "Put Together" today than it has been in a very long time. However, now it needs a good cleaning to get ready for the Holidays. First Thanksgiving, which is my favorite, and then Christmas.

Looking forward to this Friday, where I can just chill a bit. Weekends are busy around here, since my husband is home, and I usually try and do most of my cooking then.

    Happy Friday to everyone.

Re: RCMC #134 You Have to Be a Little Crazy to Have A Lot of Fun

I need to put ink in my printer. I haven't printed anything in such a long time, that I did not realize that I should change my color ink cartridge. Not sure about the black and white one.

I am making a picture collage to hang in my kitchen.

Still sitting here in my pj's. I need to eat breakfast, and get dressed. Lagging so far behind this morning.

Earlier, I was trying to get my printer to print on large size photo paper. I decided to try and print on 4 by 6 photo paper, and so far, that is working. So maybe I can complete my project after all. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Here is the finished afghan that I have been crocheting. Actually, I took the picture of it across a twin size bed. My tenant has a full size bed. The afghan is her Christmas present, and it should look nice in her newly painted bedroom, which we painted a bright aqua color.

My aunt quilted until she turned 96 and suffered a stroke. She kept busy and lived alone.

I hope to live to be at least 100. My husband tells me that I am crazy. He doesn't want to ever be that old. His grandmother was 95, when she passed away. She was very healthy and at that ripe old age, she took no medication at all.

Beautiful!!! Wish I could work as fast as you... I'm still trying to finish the stuffed dog I started back in the spring....

I have GOT to get it done however because I have other things I need to work on for other babies now!

Re: RCMC #134 You Have to Be a Little Crazy to Have A Lot of Fun

    Hello everyone.

Just got home from changing out a water heater at a friends house. Should have been easy, it kinda was. I had to offset one of the pipes, it was 3/4" copper, so I soldered in two 45º elbows. It even looks nice!

Of course, the old one was pretty much full of silt and couldn't be drained very much. 50 gallons of silt weighs about 400 lbs. I weigh 185.........

Likely about 30 years old or so. I doubt if it had ever been drained.
