Drs are known for their poor hand writing. If they cared about people's health they would write prescriptions a lot more carefully.
Well I don't ski so..... the snow can stay far away.

I remember late 1978, early 1979, we got just under 90 inches of snow that Winter. I remember the huge puddles that we had in April that I had to walk through each morning taking my youngest son to school. That's the record amount for a Winter.

This winter has been typical for us - we had a few days of snow flurries, but nothing that stuck. I am ready for it to warm up though - we have one room in our house that was built as an add-on and they didn't do a good job so that room is always cold, so it hardly gets used in winter. I want it to be warm enough I can sit in there without a fire.

Re: RCMC #135 - Merry Christmas - Happy New Year

My trip to the Pharmacy at Walgreens took a while. First they had to call my husband's doctor, and then they had to call his insurance company to overide the mistake, and issue a new prescription. It took me about an hour, but at least the matter has been settled. Prescriptions are so expensive. The actual cost of all the medication that my husband and I both take is about 75% more than what we pay. What do people do that don't have insurance? You can't afford to be sick, or have any health condition at all.

Some pharmaceutical companies have programs that offer prescriptions to the uninsured for little to no cost, but I'm not sure how hard it is to get that. They probably have a lot of hoops to jump through but if you need the meds, I guess you do what you have to do.

I got prescription painkillers for some dental work I had done back in Nov. (just Tylenol 3) and didn't have insurance back then, but luckily 12 pills was only $11.99. Most things are much more expensive than that.

I was looking at some old RCMC threads and I remember when these threads would fly by quickly and a new one would have to be made in a few weeks. Now RCMC lasts for months. Maybe we should advertise. Either that or everyone needs to start posting some more.

Uverse is a pain??? I want Uverse. Comcast has all kinds of pixeling on the screen and the DVRs don't work very good. When I had the DVR with Dish, it worked like a champ but Comcast just sux.

What do you not like about the Uverse?
