I would say yeah, but this trip is not for another couple of weeks, it's a yearly trip, my siblings go and I stay home and watch the dogs. We don't have family staying coming together for the holidays, I still live with them, and we don't really do the holidays. It just seems like a trip is an excuse to yell and scream and be mean to the person not going on the trip. Then they come back and be like, "ah it was nice to relax and get away from the problems." Problem that they created and they expect us to fix.
I'm just tired. I have the health insurance thing to worry about. Plus they go on their trip the week before school starts and I need to find a way to pay for my books. Due to issues last semester, I don't have Financial Aid, I still have my classes paid, but I do not get checks. With this trip I may not have any money.
Alex, I'm sorry you have to go through this; this is not the way it's supposed to be.
I've never understood parents who treat their kids like dirt. All of my kids are grown and gone now, but they all know that if they ask me any type of question, they'll get a straight answer. And in the most tactful way possible.
I guess, being the positive person that I am, one good thing is you'll be able to handle the garbage that gets thrown at you when you get older. Believe me; there's a TON of it.
If nothing else, posting stuff here (where you are among friends who think highly of you) will cut back on some of the stress.
Wait...I got it!! Wanna move to northern Nevada??? I know this guy who now has several empty rooms in his house.......
Seriously, even though it's nearly impossible to see it now, sooner or later things will look up for you.
I managed to play my way up to Level 105 in Candy Crush.
I think it's great that they limit the lives that they give you. It makes the game less stressful when you cut back the amount of time that you are actually playing. It's more about the luck than the skill, most of the time.
I have nothing but time, or maybe I should word that, my time is my own. In the course of a day, or a week, I seem to get almost everything done that needs doing. Being able to squeeze my many hobbies/pastimes into a day, makes my life less stressful.
I wish my mom had had more hobbies. Then perhaps she would not have turned to alcohol in her later years.
My husband won't eat the same thing two days in a row. He takes food to work for lunch, so I have to make sure to alternate the choices. I cook in fairly small amounts. I guess I have gotten pretty good at cooking for two.
Although lately my grandson, and older son have been eating my cooking a lot as well.
