If I may share a related note...my Aunt Audree was the mother of Brian, Dennis and Carl Wilson of the Beach Boys.

Actually she was my grandfather's sister so I guess she was a "great aunt", and the boys were second cousins.

Well, Audree was indeed as great an aunt as I ever could have had.

When she died in 1997, they played my favorite Brian Wilson composition - God Only Knows - at her memorial.

"I may not always love you
But long as there are stars above you
You'll never need to doubt it
I'll make you so sure about it
God Only Knows what I'd be without you..."

I broke down in tears.

Now, every time I hear that song...even as the theme to a rather controversial HBO TV show that I like...it makes me cry a little, and remember my "Great Aunt."
