Anyone still suffering from VMK Withdrawl?

The other night when I was putting my daughter to bed, she asked me if I missed VMK. I said yes I do, and we went on to have a nice conversation about the games and the rooms etc and how much she missed playing it.

That got me wondering, it's been a while now and I was currious how many folks are still having VMK withdraw symptoms...

Re: Anyone still suffering from VMK Withdrawl?

OK I will admit it, I miss VMK very much.......
I wonder, where did all my stuff go, I had at least one of everything....
If they bring it back do I get my things back?
Where are all my friends ? Disney helped me make all these new friends and their dont share any personal information, cause me to loose them.

Yes, I miss VMK

Re: Anyone still suffering from VMK Withdrawl?

I'll admit I even have times where I miss it and wish it was still around. Especially since so many people have left MC since VMK closed.

Funny you should post this - I was just thinking about it - namely the Big Thunder Mountain maze.

Re: Anyone still suffering from VMK Withdrawl?

I miss it so much. I try to get over it, but it's too hard when nearly everyone I knew from VMK disappeared from MC and didn't stay for the afterparty.

Especially with Halloween and Christmas coming up. My favorite times in VMK were those two holidays with the decorations, items, and events.

Sometimes but I also play other online games so that tends to fulfill that aspect of need for me.

I do miss the interactions and the people, making rooms was also probably my favorite "thing" to do. It was just getting good IMHO and I'm sorry it's gone.

Not really. I liked the game, but can't say I'm going through any withdrawl. What's done is done.

Re: Anyone still suffering from VMK Withdrawl?

I really miss it. I miss hanging out with all my goofy friends!! You guys made sure I was in a good mood by the time I logged out, if I was in a grouchy mood that day. I miss ForeverWDW's After Hours Lounge where we had drinks on Troy!! LOL

Re: Anyone still suffering from VMK Withdrawl?

I still miss VMK. It was something I could do when I didn't have anything else to do, because the rest of my family is usually very busy. Mostly, I just miss my friends and the ability to create rooms (and the fireworks game). The closure of VMK made lots of friendships disappear, and I miss my friends that I have lost contact with dearly.

Re: Anyone still suffering from VMK Withdrawl?

Yeah I miss VMK, but I miss the friends more. I have honestly lost touch with all but one or two of my friends from VMK. And to tell the truth this is the first time I've logged on to MC in at least a month. Back when VMK was still running I checked MC daily. **sigh**

Angry Re: Anyone still suffering from VMK Withdrawl?

I miss it terribly. I would give anything for them to bring it back. But i know that Disney won't do that because they don't give a care. All they are is greedy and selfish. I wish they could see how badly they have hurt us within these last few months since vmk closes. . I wonder how much money they could have made if they had made vmk pay to play like all the rest of their games. I already quit pirates. I got too bored with it. Mark my words disney is going to realize what a big mistake it was closing vmk down one of these days.

Re: Anyone still suffering from VMK Withdrawl?

...

I really miss VMK.
I still think that VMK still exists, even though I know it's gone.
I made many friends on there, and now they're gone.
I wish VMK would return, even if it was a basic/unlimited membership game.
I miss all the happy times on VMK, when it was still there.
I think it was unreasonable to end VMK, even if it was supposed to end.
I think that three years its really not enough time for a game that had over 2 million members, in the online world where people made friends, had fun, lived life online... I wish it lasted longer.

...

Re: Anyone still suffering from VMK Withdrawl?

I miss vmk VERY much.
Sometimes I'll sit there watching TV like "how come you didn't get on VMK tonight?"
Then I realize it's closed :/
Then I realize how close I was to my two little "groups" I had (micechatters and the "circle of friends")
I must admit, I have alotttttttt of friends in real life and hardly have any time for the computer anymore, but nobody compares to the people we met in that game.
Honestly, I only get withdrawls every once in a while. But it sure sucks when I do!

I don't think any other game can compare. Not at all.
