I really cut back on the figures when they went from $6.99 to $7.99. It's got to be a never-before-done figure (no resculpts, no repaints, etc) for me to buy north of $7 (and it better be dang good at that)

I only have the NECA ones and love them. I don't have the JUN planning ones and probably won't get on board. The two lines are completely different scale.

The Jun Planning figures are a lot smaller. That's just from eye-balling it though. I didn't buy any to do a full comparison.

From what I saw this last season, they did look to be about the same size, though like you I did not do a side by side comparison. Now some definitely were smaller, like the Vampires. They looked like they had taken NEcas old molds and used them to make the figures.

Re: Toy Collecting Chit-Chat thread.

Thanks...It looks like the Jacks are comparable at about 7" The Vampires range from 2.5" to 4". So far the sculpts are similar, but I'm leaning to NECA since I know the set is fairly complete. The only characters they didn't make are Sandy Claws and the band to my knowledge.

There's actually a few characters still missing definitely. Santa Claus and the band as you said. We're also missing the rest of the vampires, Dr. Finklestein's replacement for Sally, the reindeer, don't think we have that big snake... or do we? I can't recall.

I think that's about it though.

Re: Toy Collecting Chit-Chat thread.

Don't forget the Haunted Tree, Corpse Dad, the Grim Reaper, The Hag (both appear in the back of Town Meeting scene) and the Gate keeper (I think he is a separate character. Of course those last 3 are the equivalent of most of the cantina alien in Star Wars, but still, I'd buy them. Also a Snowman version of Jack would be cool.

Re: Toy Collecting Chit-Chat thread.

Stratos and the JLU Gotham Criminals are now available on Mattycollector.com

I just put my order in for the JLU set as I don't really want Stratos.

I'm so iffy on Stratos. Maybe if I found someone to share the order with, I'd go in on it.

Re: Toy Collecting Chit-Chat thread.

Is anyone familiar with the larger sized action figures that hasbro made for the Incredibles a few years back. there were only four (Mr. Incredible, Syndrome, Frozone, and Violet) and they were between 9-12". I've been trying to geta beat on them and they appear to be non-existant. I can't even find reference to them. Any help? Pricing would be great?

Re: Toy Collecting Chit-Chat thread.

I only recall Disney Store Incredibles figures but not any from Hasbro. Those were around 6" or so.
