Re: Toy Collecting Chit-Chat thread.

I have all of the 6" figures from Hasbro (except Dash as he wa s a horrible sculpt) as well as the Disney Store figures that came in the clamshell packaging. I also have the 12" talking Mr. Incredible that they did. In addition, I have 3 of 4 mid-sized figures. Theya er about 9" i think. I need to get to storage to take pictures and then I will share. I can't find any reference to them anywhere.

Ooooh yah i recall them now. They were awful and completely out of scale with each other right? The Mr. Incredible had a throwing action gimmick that came with Mr. Huff right? RIIIGHT???

Yah those were really bad!

Re: Toy Collecting Chit-Chat thread.

I used to collect Medicom Disney Vinyl Dolls. I thought they were done since I haven't seen them anymore. At least any new ones. But there is one coming out that I haven't seen before:

Sulley

You can order this through sideshowtoy.com or at cornerstorecomics.com and pick it up on your way to disneyland.

It'll be an easy pass for me. I like Monsters Inc but not love it so much to have a figure of it. Especially at that price.

Re: Toy Collecting Chit-Chat thread.

I'm with you...kind of over big vinyl. I used to be an avid collector. Now it's just Disney action figures to limit my passion. I wish someone would do a good exhaustive Monsters line ala Palisades Muppets or NECA Nightmare.

OOoh, now THAT'S an idea!!! I'd love that. Really wished Palisades stayed afloat. I still have my Super Grover figure in the box and I'm really scared to remove it because of how rare it is. Plus it's autographed by Alex Ross.

And if they did a Monsters Inc toyline, we could have a shrine for Frank Oz toys. Yoda, Grover, Miss PIggy, Animal, Fozzie... and that one monster he played in Monsters Inc. I forget his name.

Super Grover is going for over $100 on the bay currently. I'd leave it in the box...then again I leave everything in the box. The packaging is part of the art IMO.

Re: Toy Collecting Chit-Chat thread.

I saw the Marvel Universe (3.75" line) figures at a local comic book store today and I must say they look even better than in the photos. At $14.99 for each, I wasn't about to pay that when they'll be on store shelves next Sunday but I'm anxiously awaiting them. This coming from a severely biased towards DC comics fan.

I just saw the entire set at Wal-Mart today, along with Wolverine movie / comic figures. I bought a Deadpool. Not sure if I'm gonna keep it yet.

Re: Toy Collecting Chit-Chat thread.

So I just got my NECA Santa jack and Jun Planning standard Jack in the mail....I'm waiting for my series 1 NECA Jack before I decide, but Jun definitely has the nod right now. The detail and presentation on those figures is amazing. If I can fix the virus on my home cpu tonight, I will post pictures.
