Re: Toy Collecting Chit-Chat thread.

I see that the Mickey Transformer thread got closed but here are new photos which have surfaced

Additional Looks at Disney Label Mickey Mouse Transformers

It looks pretty neat and if it isn't too pricey, I'll want one!

Re: Toy Collecting Chit-Chat thread.

You know I'd totally get it but it's TINY. And for that price, it's not a lot of robot for your buck! Pass for now.

Re: Toy Collecting Chit-Chat thread.

I was looking through the latest Toy Fare issue today and saw some pics of the new Terminator: Salvation toys. The robot ones look pretty good. If I had more money right now I'd pick some up when they hit the shelves.

Re: Toy Collecting Chit-Chat thread.

Saw this posted on an action figure site, and it made me yearn for someone to go back and do a great darkwing set. Unproduced Wave 2.

Re: Toy Collecting Chit-Chat thread.

^ Why didn't the company produce this series? Were the sales for first series bad? I love all of those figures!

I remember getting on the bus and running home from elementary school and trying to catch Gummi Bears on Disney Afternoon, but I usually missed it. I always watched the other shows. Of the Disney Afternoon shows, DuckTales, Rescue Rangers, Gummi Bears, TaleSpin, Darkwing Duck, and (to some extent) Gargoyles. The shows that they made later in the years didn't amuse me as much.

Does anyone know why the final DVD sets have not been released for most of these shows? I probably should have showed my support for them and bought the ones that I wanted, but I thought it was best to wait until all the season sets were released.

I would suggest getting them now while you still can. DVD season sets, especially of animated series, can tend to have a limited run. I learned the hard way by waiting on the GI Joe sets...only got one of them and then the company manufacturing the sets lost the rights to produce the dvd's.

Re: Toy Collecting Chit-Chat thread.

January and February are supposed to be slow times for toy collecting.

However, I totaled up my purchases for those 2 months and my goodness, it's more than enough for a new laptop!

Dude, with all the stuff you buy like Hot Toys and Medicom and Sideshow, I'm sure you rack up a pretty nice total yourself!

We're talking about a low end laptop btw and not a Vaio or Mac book pro air.

Barbossa - just trying to do my part! Of course, Hasbro could've helped me out by putting out more TOD figures. Then again, their price raise on Star Wars and GI Joe figures helped to pad my total.

Re: Toy Collecting Chit-Chat thread.

I found it at Frank and Son's for $45 the guy told me. I came back later to get it and the same guy upped it to $75 and told me I was lying

Ya, I'm still looking for the TOD figs myself. What bugs me is when I see people making customs out of them when they are in short supply and there are those like us that don't even have them yet.
