I'd rather see some figures from the Ewok films before the comic book stuff. The second Ewok film had some cool looking characters. Teek, The marauders?

It's just that it feels like they're really pouring it on heavier than usual. Just wondering if they're overdoing it. Oh well... it'll save me some money anyway!

Re: The Recent Toy Acquistion(s) thread

Time to add some new pictures of the Neverland area and the paper model of The Phantom Manor plus some new HP related merchandise.

First up shots of the Neverland Room which also contains Final Fantasy and other Action figures of all kinds of strange things.

The Phantom Manor Paper Model from all sides:

Front

Right Side

Back and Left side

New to the World of Harry Potter Merchandise. First is my favorite Slytherin, Draco Malfoy Mini Bust from Gentle Giant.

This is a sample of the Action Figures that are released in England. These are NOT NECA figures as they, for now, only have the US license for HP Figures. I only have these figures. Draco, Fred and George and Voldemort. Draco comes with wand and a Proclamation Board with 3 interchangeable inserts. Fred comes with boxes of candies that can be placed under his arm. George comes with a suitcase that advertises there store. Voldemort comes with wand and Nagini.

To give you a idea of the difference between the US Neca figures as to size and quality, here is Harry Potter with Hedwig for a side by side comparison. Now you will understand why I will not be getting any other England Produced Action Figures.

Well.. so far they made 1 figure from the Holiday Special and that's the Animated Boba Fett. The door has been opened!

Ok my mistake... technically, Zutton also appeared in the Holiday Special and was released back in 2001. So there are now TWO figures from the Holiday Special.

Have you seen the entire Holiday Special? I swear you have to be on drugs to understand the whole thing. Nothing quite tops the wookiee cybersex scene tho...

Re: The Recent Toy Acquistion(s) thread

Searching for the PT Flea and Flik Cars set, I stopped by some Toys R Us's in the area yesterday. While I didn't see any, I didn't stop by a local comic book store and picked this up. One of my favorite episodes of the series, and it's just too funny not to keep.

Re: The Recent Toy Acquistion(s) thread

And while I'm really back logged on updating my toy photo archive, I did get a gift from a coworker that I really enjoyed.

These are animal figures but with guns... yah, don't ask me what it is because I really don't know! But I love em!

I appreciate that offer, Coheteboy, but I already opened it. I have been watching what I buy, so once in a while I can get something for myself.

Re: The Recent Toy Acquistion(s) thread

Here's another one. The figure is a little old (came out last May) but I got a great deal on it ($3); Hoth Han Solo (Vintage Collection).

Re: The Recent Toy Acquistion(s) thread

Doing some catch up, here are some new toys that I finally got around to opening...

First up is the new Iron Man by Hasbro. This is the Mark 03 model which is the main one in the film. I like the shininess of it.

Star Wars figures (thanks to melonballer)

Pre Cyborg Grievous

Holographic Darth Vader

Clone Trooper

And Disneyland put out some new racers!

that's it for now!
