    Mid-Life Crisis

I was watching my guilty pleasure, Desperate Housewives. The new guy, Edie's husband was explaining what and how a mid-life crisis starts. He said "A man gets a certain age and he realizes, he's gonna die someday, really die. And whats worse, is he's everything he's ever gonna be. He's not gonna be rich, never gonna climb a mountain." WOW!!!!!!!!

That was the best explanation I have ever heard.

    It makes so much sense.

It was funny we don't watch the show but we caught that little bit and my husband turned to me and said, 'yep, that is the best explanation for it'.

Yeah . . . I'm looking at life that way too. Trying to set my finances on the right path as well as my education. I've seen how much stupid little mistakes cost me and how much more they could. Best bet is to live your life without creating any regrets.

t makes me very glad that I'm not there yet.
I really don't ever want to give up hope
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

I've learned to never put limitations on myself. Maybe I'll avoid a mid-life crisis after all?! Thankfully in many ways my husband is the same way. He hit a little bump in his late 30's but seems to share a similar view as I do now.

I'm going to kill my BF (who is 48)... he just bought one. He picks it up on Saturday. I about dropped my phone when he texted me to tell me. I told him there is no way in hell I'm getting on it though.

Better to let them have motorcycles. If they start chasing 19 year girls again, then you have to worry.

I'm still allowed to. Also, instead of getting a motorcycle I'm getting a Vespa.

My BF is picking up his stupid bike today. He told me he'll only ride it on weekends, not at night and he's going to take a riders course. Still can't pay me enough to get on it though.

What's the point if he can't fully enjoy it? :P
