Hey ladies, question!

sure the titels unrelated but you looked!

This week I got a guys number for an event i was planning. Event is over but i kind of went to text him just to talk. is this a no-no? I've known him and his family about 15 years and while he used to be really quiet around me, he's been warming up lately. I don't "like him" like him yet but he's a good guy and very sweet, i thin if i got to know him i might.

What do you think?

How can it be a no no especially if you've known the family for 15 years? And there is nothing wrong in talking to someone you like and getting to know him a little better.

I know that texting is much less intimidating, but if you're interested and you think he is, too, why not give him a call? Texting is kind of impersonal, IMO, and in any written communication, there's always room for something to be misinterpreted or taken the wrong way (due to the lack of tone). It's not like this is some random stranger off the street. Call and say hello, and then move the conversation to a movie you'd like to see. If he's not dense, and he likes you, he'll use that as a perfect opportunity to ask you out.

Or, call him and ask him if he'd like to meet for a cup of coffee or something.
