How high do you go?

So, I'm on the lookout for some new heels. I really like the new trend of platforms and have fallen in love with several...all with a heel height of 4+ inches. I've never had heels that high before and they will put me over 6'1". I must admit, I like the thought of being that tall and will most likely just go for it. Luckily, Hubster (who is my height without heels ) doesn't mind me being taller.

But I wonder how others feel, both men and women. Guys, do you like your woman taller? Gals, do you like being the tall one?

For one, you know how tall or short I am. Even with a 5 inch heel I know I couldn't be taller than my hubby.

Hypothetically speaking, I really don't like being taller than my man, but that's just me. I really don't know if he minds me being taller, I should ask him.

I'm 5'7'' and wear the highest heels I can find...without going "strippery". Most of my heels are around 3''. Hubby's 6'1''.....and I'm not going THAT high!

I'm 5'2" and I generally wear 3 in heels. Mr LB says he's 5'7" but somehow we appear the same height when I wear the 3 in heels ? He doesn't mind me going higher than 3in, but that it borders the "strippery" look especially if they're the platform ones . I've tried explaining that they just can't be collecting dust in my closet.

*waving* Yes! That would be me too! I haven't worn heels of any kind pretty much since high school. Also, hubby is not much taller than me, and even though it wouldn't bother me being taller, I don't think he'd like it so much.

Heels hate me. They may look cute but they are the devil! I always prefer for my boyfriend or date to be taller than me. It makes me feel smaller which I like since I'm 5'8".

Yes! I'm the same way.

I'm 100% klutzy and when I walk in heels it messes with my balance (I'm 5'10" so balance is pretty hard to find already!). But I have one pair of like 4.5 platform heels (they're sundress like. Woven rope around the heel and then a tan leather toe strap that looks like eyelet work.) that I wear on fancy occassions. I end up being 6'2"ish... Granted I wear them for like 10 minutes to look cute and then sit down and pray I don't fall sitting down.

I'm 5'6" and I like about 3" heels. Hubby likes it when I get taller. He's nearly 6 foot.

Currently I go no more then 2" heels now, mostly because with my broken leg injury I don't feel too stable with most higher heels. Before I messed myself up though the sky was the limit, all I would wear were heels.

I've found Clarks to be the best heels because they offer a lot of support and are very comfortable, they're the shoes I wear to Disneyland all the time and my feet never get tired walking around.
