And the winner for biggest CHILD Disney Geek is................
:D
I just got back from Back to School night(Hi Evilfer :)) )and I must say, Kyler has exceeded even my expectations of Disney Geekiness. Everyone that has met him knows he is a huge Disney Geeks that plans on going to "Cow" Arts and then succeeding Matt Ouimet. But the kids had me rolling today.
His Science and Composition books are both covered with Mickey Heads, hidden Mickeys and 50th's mouse ears. His name tage on his desk has a pictures that he's drawn of a Pirate Skull with crossbones and a piece of gold in his eye, with a pirate hat on and says "yo ho yo ho a pirates life for me" and "dead men tell no tales"
A picture of the Matterhorn
A picture of the Tiki Room complete with Dole whip stand and 3 tiki's looking over the door.
The Haunted Mansion and finally.
Mickey Heads and a boy with 50th ears.
He has two papers written in his composition book so far. One is
"If I could be anyone I would be______" He choose Walt Disney. His paper was wonderful. All about how he wishes that he could be Walt Disney so that he could enjoy the Disneyland that he created and provide joy and smiles for families and children etc etc
the secound paper was
"If I had the Power______" His was the Power to be the CEO of Disneyland. He wrote that he would continue what Matt Ouimet has started, by bringing Disneyland back up to Walt Disney's standards. He also put that he would continue to keep Disneyland at Walt Disney's standards and would make Disney California's Adventures something that Walt Disney would be proud of. Because right now DCA(his words)isn't something that Walt would like because he created Disneyland for families to enjoy together and there is not enough things for families with kids like his little brother to enjoy together at DCA AND Walt Disney would not want games at any of his parks.
:D :D :D :D :D <<<< that's me right now
His teacher also raved that he loved him and he's so polite and wonderful(he must morph into another person while at school ;) either that or I get the smart mouth pod person at home :)) )
For that matter, Shawn's teacher raved about him too.
Color me HAPPY TONIGHT

Your son rocks. I can only pray my son grows up to be that big of a Disney Geek. :beg:
TOV
Re: And the winner for biggest CHILD Disney Geek is................
Like there is any doubt in my mind that your child is a Disney Geek. For one, I've talked to him. And two, have you looked around your house lately? Apple doesn't fall far from the tree!!;) :imtheone:
From a teacher point of view, this is great! He has a huge interest and it will help him with his writing! Most students don't know what to write about until you ask them what they are interested in and then the stuff just pours out. Good on Ky!!
Re: And the winner for biggest CHILD Disney Geek is................
Good on him :smart:
Isn't that the best feeling in the world, to see them lovin something and then having others give you  for their work. You get to swell up with pride watching them swell up with pride.
Amazing!!
Re: And the winner for biggest CHILD Disney Geek is................
OMG Tina, I aos love your son!!!!! He's my hero
Re: And the winner for biggest CHILD Disney Geek is................
A kid after my own heart. Bravo!
Re: And the winner for biggest CHILD Disney Geek is................
Give Kyler a hug from me, will ya! That boy will end up at Cow Arts yet!
Re: And the winner for biggest CHILD Disney Geek is................
Dang, all we got to do at Back to School Night was listen to the teachers talk about how they "manage" the class.
Yea for Kyler and his proud mom! :ap:
Re: And the winner for biggest CHILD Disney Geek is................
That's my future son-in-law for you :)) Gotta love that kid!
Way to go, boys!!
Re: And the winner for biggest CHILD Disney Geek is................
I skipped out on The Boy's BTS night... Same as what Jennidsneyfer said. All they do is have the parents sit down while they discuss the classroom goals and objectives for the year. They also sent home a notice reminding the parents that the kids are not really welcome to come. I usually don't go until the BTS night in March or May, when it is truly a BTS night, where the kids can take their parents around to check out their room and what all they have accomplished. It is informal and inviting.
WTG for Kyler!!! One of these days we will have to meet somewhere!!!
Re: And the winner for biggest CHILD Disney Geek is................
OMG!! If only Kyler was 10 years older :D

Okay, he's my dream student! Imagine the lessons we could do- you need to buy churros for yourself and 8 of your closest friends, how much money will you need? Your mom drives 80 miles an hour to get you to the main gate for rope drop. What time will you need to leave your house in the morning?
Re: And the winner for biggest CHILD Disney Geek is................
You must be very proud! Actually, this thread had made me re-think if I want to have kids someday or not, so they can be Disney fanatics like your son! :p

Okay I'm asking him those and he's totally working them out :lmao:
His answers are "he said that's easy $15.75"
and
"between 6am and 6:30am depending on traffic"
