I was a lonely loser who never played any such games... thank you for reminding me of that fact.....
just kidding HM! I ain't mad at ya! But it is true that I've never participated in either game.
Seven minutes in heaven, because you could just go in there and talk and no one was the wiser. Spin the bottle...you had to kiss. In front of everyone.
Kiss and tag was more fun. It was a game of chase, if you were caught, you were kissed. I liked that game better, because mostly it was a game of chase. And most of the time, the boys would chase you because they liked you, but seemed relieved if you told them you didn't actually want a kiss.I don't know. Maybe they were gay, HM!!!
I played the chase-and-kiss one too. I don't think I actually ever played the other two but I'm thinking I would have liked to 7 minute one. Alone for seven minutes with a crush? Oh yeah!
I give myself very good advice, but I very seldom follow it.That explains the trouble that I'm always in...
We always played Truth or Dare.... We'd always plan ahead of time so if we said Dare our friends would say "I dare you to kiss......"
Never played spin the bottle and I never knew about 7 minutes in heaven....

I played spin the bottle... try it with Straight Men.
...it's been a long time.
It's silly...but my friends made up this game called, "peanutbutter lava", where the stairs was this waterfall of peanut butter lava and if you fell down this waterfall you would fall into a deep sleep and someone would have to venture down the waterfall and kiss you to rescue you. We were young and silly.
Marge: Barnacle Bill's Home Pregnancy Test? Homer, shouldn't we have gone with a better-known brand?
Homer: But Marge, this one came with a corn-cob pipe!
Marge: [reading from the test box] "Ahoy, Maties! If the water turns blue, a baby for you! If purple ye see, no baby thar be!"
Homer: So, which is it? Blue or purple?
Marge: Pink.
Homer: D'oh!
Marge: "If ye test should fail, to a doctor set sail!"
LOL! We used to do that too. I think 7 minutes in heaven would be a long time in a closet for the age we were when we were playing these games. Another one we played was Sardines(reverse hide-n-seek). Someone would hide and when you find them, you hide with them. The last to find the bunch is "It". This was good to sneak a quick kiss in with a boy you liked.Originally Posted by DMof2

I played Spin the Bottle. Haven't heard of 7 Minutes In Heaven until now. If you put the two together however, that could be interesting!
Another game that I've played is Speaking In Tongues. That's where two partners French kiss while attempting to talk at the same time.
I've never played either.

I never played Spin the Bottle. But I played Kiss Tag and Love Hide and Go Seek.
I was never much of a game player...![]()
What about "Smeer the *****?"
I think that'd take on a whole new set of rules with this group.
I rarely played any of them. We did the chase and kiss one but eewww- you'd have to kiss a boy. One year at the Renn Faire we played spin the bottle. Better than half the group was women, so my odds were good.
I pledge allegiance to the Earth, one planet, many gods, and to the universe in which she spins.
