Re: Can We Talk Clothes, Please?

I love looking at shoes on zappos.com, but I've only ordered from them a few times. The last shoes I got were too big, so I sent them back no questions asked. They're great about returns. The other 2 pair fit fine. Well, no that's not entirely true. One pair were these gorgeous silver Charles David shoes. They're about 1/8 of an inch too short and my heel very slightly sticks out the back. It was the last pair in my size they had and they were regularly $250 on sale for $50. Yeah... I kept them! They were too pretty go get rid of!

$50?? WOW. I have never seen a sale like that on Zappos! Cool deal .

I LOVE their return policy!! It's so easy, too!

For "big shoes" (I'm a size 10.5 wide or 11 depending on the shoe maker and if they have wides) QVC. Most of my shoes from there, including my work shoes which I get compliments everyday on (Papillio Adjustable Strap Mosaic Strap Mosaic Print Clogs - QVC.com with the required teal scrubs). And they're fairly decently priced.

You just gotta be looking on the right day. My friends & coworkers call me the "deal finder" because I always find great sales & deals. Just last weekend, the BF & I went outlet shopping and I got a new purse at the Coach outlet for a steal. It retailed for $358, was marked down to $249.99, but then was on clearance for another 50% off that. But on top of that, they were handing out coupons valid that day for another 20% off.... I got the bag for $99.99 before tax.
