best self french manicure EVER!!

Hey!! You all have to try Incoco's French Manicure tips!! These are the ONLY way to get an awesome do it yourself french manicure at home!! Get the white tips only (I believe the color is called "white cloud") at Walgreens.com. They are super easy to apply as it is DRY nail polish that sticks on like stickers, but looks professional and lasts!! Lastly, you apply a sheer color over top of the tips and a top coat and you are set to go... People always ask where I got my nails done!!

wow. That sounds really easy. And a great idea. If I let my nails grow long enough, I'd try it.

Nail polish lasts maybe an hour or two on my hands unless I have fake nails.

Same here. That's why I can never get a manicure unless I plan on not taking a shower, washing my face or hands or swimming for as long as i want the polish to last. Plus i'm fed with with fake nails. Can't do anything with them like open a necklace clasp. But i'm thinking of getting pink and white done without fake tips, my real nails are long enough.

I love the look of the long, fake, french nails. But, my nails grow WAY too fast to keep them done. I had them done when I waitressed, cause I thought it was cleaner looking. I ended up having to get them refilled EVERY single week. At $20 a pop...that gets expensive. It wasn't worth $80 a month just to have pretty nails. I tried again when I worked front desk...but, it drove me crazy when i typed. I keep them really short now. But, still get manicures whenever i can.

My nails always break, but I can't afford the upkeep of fake nails anymore. I miss them though. I kept mine an "active" length. I always hated those "claws" I see on some women.

So now I just get pedicures once a month.

...I never get manicures because they always chip... that is why I use the Incoco it is way cheaper and last way longer...

The mention of 'claws' reminded me of a lady we saw on IASW last week. She had multi-colored nails that were probably 6-7 inches long. Maybe a bit longer. We were on the walkway when her boat went by and I saw them. I've seen nails like that once or twice before, and always wonder how the owner manages to get anything done.

That sounds really cool. I love getting French mani/pedicures but they are so expensive. So about a month ago I started doing the French mani/pedicure myself. White nailpolish on the tips, then clear nailpolish on top. The more I do it, the better I get. Everyone thinks I've had my nails professionally done.

french manicures are really ust the prettiest, especially on natural nails as opposed to the acrylics. I'm a horrible nail biter, with painful stubs. but this might provide the motivation I need to get them long again! To all the other nail biters out there, I have incredibly slow nail and hair growth, and I find that when I can remember to take a one-a-day vitamin every single day, I see a huge improvment in the speed my nails grow and in the strength they have. it's just actually remembering to take the vitamin I have trouble with!

I miss having nails sometimes. And I am WAY overdue for a pedicure. That's the first thing on my agenda this coming Saturday. My feet look nasty!

I was filling my own nails, but when I went back to work I no longer feel like doing it. It took 1 1/2 to 2 hours. That's not a big deal when you have all day, but when I only have 3 hours until bedtime I'd rather do other things. So, I took them off.
