    Alice in Wonderland Costume

    Thinking about getting this costume!
Wild Card Alice in Wonderland Costume Nova's Journal from TotallyCostumes.com

I don't know if I should wait until the new costumes from the new movie come out though. Anyone else buy a costume like this or similar?

    Re: Alice in Wonderland Costume

that costume has been around forever. Three years ago I went as Alice to MNSSHP....and skimpy Alice costumes were about all I could find. Took me forever to find a longer, more modest (and true to the movie) costume.

I have been wondering how long it will take for costumes to come out that resemble the costumes from the movie. That dress she wore in the red queen's castle was GORGEOUS!

Looks like something somebody like Marc Jacobs would design, but I think Vivinne Westwood was Burton's costume designer if I am not mistaken...

Alice's costumes were all fantastic. The one from the castle just stood out...perhaps because it wasn't blue.

    Re: Alice in Wonderland Costume

I actually bought something similar on eBay. For only 12 bucks. You might want to check there before buying this one.

Disneyshopping.com had an awesome Alice costume. Sadly when I made up my mind they did not have any more.

I think they will have a lot of Alice theme costumes especially with the whole movie and etc. Plus if the DVD copy comes out during that time it will definitely have followers wanting some of the outfits.

I decided I would be the Queen of Hearts, my baby girl who will be 1 year 3 months by Halloween will be Alice and the bf will be the Mad Hatter!

thats why I needed the Alice costume I mentioned before. My husband was the Mad Hatter, I was Alice and our daughter was the Queen of Hearts. You can see the picture in my profile album. We got lots of compliments...and had lots of fun at our first MNSSHP

We definately want pics of your costumes!

Colleen Atwood did the costume design for Alice. From what I've seen on has movies, she's the only costume designer he's used. His movies have such beautiful costume design I've kind always looked to see who did it.

I loved that red dress also! As soon as I saw her wearing it I hoped a reproduction would be put out so I could dream of buying it..... Even the version of it when she was made smaller and the dress looked kind of big on her I loved!

There are already costumes out from the new movie. I've only seen the Red Queen's, two Hatter costumes, and the original Alice outfit. Not any of the other outfit changes from Alice, though.

Hmmm.. Do you know where you can get the new ones? Everywhere I've called and looked for says they won't be available until May or June and I needed one next month...

Will definitely check ebay too! thanks.

I wanna be Cheshire Cat, too. But I'm gonna wait and see if they come out with more costumes from the new movie. I hope they'll have a Chessur one.
