    Yet another convert...

So, I have been reading all of the old Bare Escentuals threads and I think it is about time I tried it out. Hubby and I buy our Christmas gifts to each other in January so that we do not have to charge it. So this will be his Christmas gift to me, sweet man.
Here is my first ever Sephora order:
    Bare Escentuals get started kit
    Lip Venom
    Benefit Boo boo zap

Anything else I need to add to the basket? Thanks Ladies

    Re: Yet another convert...

I just went to a Sephora store for the first time in Hollywood a couple of weeks ago with the Wolfette, we had a blast! Bought a bit of lip gloss, but I can see where you girls can get hooked on this stuff! We are planning another trip to the Anaheim store soon, The Lip Venom sounds awesome! So another convert here also!

    oooo what fun!!!!!

I would add some Smashbox photo finish primer and a Philosophy body wash, I can't live without those.

How mush are you looking to spend?

Question for Sunnygirl....A couple months ago you showed me and let me sample some kind of perfume from Sephora......smelled like Disneyland! It was lickable and even tasted wonderful! What the heck was that? Asked about it at Sephora, and they really looked at me strange....saw the Dessert line, but couldn't find the exact one you had...HELP!

The Get Started kit is wonderful!
Lip Venom and Boo Boo Zap are two of my three SWEAR BY's
The other one is the Great One by Philosophy. You use it once or twice a week and I swear it makes your skin as soft as a baby's. It's my number one favorite Sephora purchase

These are great too, but for a first timer I would suggest the trial/smaller size of photo finish primer. The philosophy body washes have the BEST scents EVER!!

ALSO, Sephora(at the stores)will give you samples of any product that is "sample-able" It's great if you want to test a specific body wash, bath lotion, foundation etc etc etc. I tried the Smashbox cooling tint that way, that stuff is great!!

If you like Vanilla scent fragrances Comptoir Sud Pacifique are number one. Vanille Abricot is my favorite but I also love Vanilla Peach(the new one).
Pink Sugar is a top selling fragrance and my #1 favorite(that's where the Pink Sugar Princess title came from ) it smells like cotton candy, it's fantabulous!!

Totally agree- I only use the travel size.

My wish list for Sephora is soooo long, and the great thing is their return policy- if you don't like something, you can send it back no question, so you aren't stuck with something expensive that you hate.

Thanks ladies. I am so stuck I want to place the order so that I can start playing. But we will be in downtown disney in 3 weeks. So I could go to the store and try things in person. Oh dear what to do, what to do.

For me, I don't like to wait for stuff I order. I want instant gratification. If you can hold out a few weeks until you hit the Downtown Disney Sephora, then you can try things out for yourself and you can get a free makover while you're at it.

I'd wait before you order the lip venom _ I HATED it... it stung soooo badlty. I'm try it on first. However, the regular lip gloss (not the spicy) by them I loved. too bad I haven't ever found it again to buy it. (Sephorsa sent me the wrong one!)
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

I agree with Aimster, if you can handle waiting it out, then wait. That way you can be sure to get the exact colors you need, test out the fragrances, and smell all the wonderful scents of Philosophy! You could even get a sample or two of the PHilosophy 3 in 1's to use while you're there to decide which scent is your fave!!
