I really do need to find out what he's all about. My mind's all over the place though, so I will probably do that, then call it a night.

    Re: Like OMG!

I can give you a quick summary!

There's a kid's book about a little boy who gets smashed or flattened, then how he travels... which then inspires an assignment for the kids to color their own Flat Stanley and send him out to family. The family (or friends) who get him then are supposed to document their travels with him, and write up a story or send pictures along with Stanley for the kids to share with their class.

I made copies of my Stanley and sent him with friends to various parts of AZ, then took him to DL. Then I gathered all the photos and made a story book about him and sent it to my husband's cousin in Alabama. It was sooo fun!

    Hopefully that made sense? lol

It was especially fun since the CMs all were familiar with what he is.

I don't know if you saw my TR of him, but I went up to the horse and carriage in Main Street to take a picture of him with the horse, and the CMs were like "Oh, Flat Stanley! We need to do a pose with him!" then they were talking amongst themselves and said something like "Not the one we did last week!" so I said "Well, now you HAVE to do that one!" so the CM lifted the horses hoof and put Stanley underneath it. It was the funniest/cutest picture!!

And the ToT CMs were good sports. Lots of fun to be had, and unique interactions.

I wonder if they have a Flat Stanley hosting site? Haha I want more!

I wish I could receive a flat Stanley! You'd think that with the sibling being a teacher, I would have but no...Stanley surrounded by my stormtroopers and ewoks would be a fun shot.

There's a website where you can register your Flat Stanley. It's like theflatstanleyproject.com I think. You register him and have the recipient check him in, then when they send him on, the cycle continues. It's sort of like that dollar tracking thing.

Looks like mostly school kids are registering them though. I didn't look too far into it, so I'm sure there's a section for adults that I just didn't see.
