Afternoon! I'm ready to be done with work... really I am. Last night was hell.
Well, we were planning to go to the Yotes game tonight, but after getting a call this morning that my dog died I wasn't really feeling up to it. Glad we won, though! Looked like a fun game.
I'm sorry to hear about your dog Kelly! Losing pets is always so hard. I hate looking at Chuck knowing that one day too soon for my liking, I'm gonna be without him.
I think I'm gonna make some cookies tonight but not sure what kind. Reallly wanna do white chocolate macadamia nut, but that requires me buying both white chocolate AND macadamia nuts lol.
Thanks, Amanda. She was somewhat young for a chihuahua, died of a GI bleed so it was kind of traumatic. I wasn't there since she lives with my parents, but I feel awful for my mom. She died in her arms.
Chocolate chip is always my first choice! Second choice is making peanut butter cookies and making them in a mini muffin pan then shoving a Reese's into each one right when they get out of the oven... OMG that are the best cookies ever when they're still warm! They're pretty good cooled off but you've got to eat them fresh!!
That's so sad!! I'm really sorry!
James came over, so I don't know what cookies we're gonna make.
I appreciate it. I'm sorry, too.
If you've never made the PB ones with Reese's - give those a try!
I think we'll give those a go tomorrow. How much do you put in the pans and how hot & long do you bake them? We ended up making a batch of chocolate chip of sorts. I dumped some chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, and some leftover Christmas M&M's. The directions said 375, so they're all rather crispy on the bottom. Kinda sad. I think I'm gonna turn them into ice cream sandwich cookies.
This is the recipe I've followed:

One sappy one, one more accurate one lol
Kelly, I'm so sorry about your dog.
I had soooo much fun yesterday - and to think the day started off with blood tests!
Some of you saw the stuffed Bullseye that I won at the DCA Boardwalk games and if you'll recall when we were talking about Dave and Busters, I was bragging how unbeatable I am at the horse racing games. Well I met my match yesterday - this 10 year old girl was beating everyone and won 2 of the largest size Bullseyes. I was hoping she'd play one more time but she left with her winnings and I had to settle for beating the other 7 people. I'm definitely keeping this Bullseye though. :)
the Disney Parks were really crowded though. No Kelly, I didn't have a corn dog :p
Alright the fun continues later with a late lunch gathering with friends! talk to you all later.
glad you had fun!! Sucks about the crowds. Next weekend is forecasted to be a crowd level of 10, so I'm trying to mentally prepare.
we just saw Warm Bodies. I liked it! It's a lot more chick flick and a lot less comedy than I was expecting, but still good. I love zombie movies, but they usually all follow the same plot line. This one was a nice twist on the usual. :)
Afternoon empty room! I'll see if we wanna do the peanut butter cup cookies today. I'm feeling kinda lazy.
its what i do! i havn't had a bad recipe yet!
