Mom's birthday was a success except for my aunt at dinner who, upon sitting down looked at my mom and said "OH! They have a senior's menu!" That didn't go over well.
Mom got a call from her brother this morning saying Grandma was back in the hospital and that he'd call when they got home if they don't admit her.
A family friend lost his Grandfather, so I made him some scones and muffins and some lemon curd to go with them. I'm taking them over as soon as I hear back from him.
Sharks are losing 2-1, lost yesterday 4-3. I need a better team to root for lol.
I think that's it for now. I may be making the trip to my Grandma's house in Redding in the morning, not sure yet. If I'm not scurried out the door in a hurry, I'll let you all know if I head up there. I'll probably take my laptop with me for something to do while she naps though.
hi and bye amanda, i talked to you earlier on text so i already got your update! mmm lemon curd!!! yum!!!!!!!

i have done the subway system in DC it wasn't THAT bad.. LOL..
and i am now sitting at home watching this movie on SYFY called Icequake.. Really cheesy SYFY movie...
i made the chicken with the bread crumbes and mayo kinda like kellys recipe.. it was good !
Amanda that was quite a mix of positive and negative in that update. I hope everything turns out okay.
I love that chicken recipe. I never measure how much mayo/parmesan/bread crums/various spices I use so it turns out different every time. And it's weird because I bake it for 45 minutes at 375 no matter what size the chicken breast is, and it turns out perfect. Magic!
yeah i didnt ask u the measurements did u notice that?? LOL i just kinda winged it, but here is what i did.. i took 3 boneless skinless chicken thighs and i mixed egg with mayo then i "bathed" the chicken in the mayo and egg mixture plus butter!. then i had pulverized some crackers to make crumbs, and the chicken went in that, then i layed in a greased pan, and put some more melted butter over the top and then baked at 350 for a good 40 min or so.
it was perfect!! i also used parmesan! and i did veggies, frozen ones, key largo blend from Ralphs..
Your way is more fancy than mine. I mix mayo with paremsan and bread crumbs, then throw in garlic powder, onion powder, ground pepper, paprika, cajun spices, and blackening spices. Then I just spread it on top of the chicken breasts and throw them in the oven. Yum!
