I'm not sure if I remember right, but I think he may be one of the original CMs, or at least one with the longest service still working there. He was very friendly!

I swear I'm going to take you up on it, but I'm going to wait a little bit for the temps to cool off. I'd be sad if I got them all melted!

No, no. Melty chocolate chip cookies are the best! I really dislike hard cookies. I like them when they're still a bit warm. Mmm.

A friend from Denver is coming down in October and I'm hoping we can hit up one of the Halloween parties together. No idea what I'm going to wear. Would be easier if I had a sewing machine. LOL.

Fresh out of the oven - YES! Fresh out of the 150 degree mail box - NO! Haha

I wish I knew how to sew - Halloween would be so much more affordable!

I wish I had the patience to sew lol. I'd love to make my own costume. We had a friend last year who said he was gonna make all our costumes for us, then never did.

I have a recipe for Snickerdoodle cookies that stay soft and chewy for days (as long as you keep them in a container with a lid or a ziplock bag.) OMG they are soooo good......and now I want some. Argh!

I don't ususally celebrate Halloween unless it's on a weekend and I can go out. I don't like going out and dressing up when I have to work the next day and our house is off the beaten track enough that we never get Trick or Treaters.

We don't get many trick or treaters here either sadly. And I find it odd since we're in a neighborhood that has an elementary school 3 doors down. There are a couple other schools close by too. Our town doesn't have many street lights in the residential area though, so that may be the reason.

It seems like kids don't trick or treat in their own neighborhood anymore. When I was a kid we just went in a two block radius around our house but now parents drive the kids out to malls, or trailer parks, or upscale housing communities and trick or treat there instead, even if it's several miles from where they live.

Yup, the mall I get, but that takes the fun out of going out. I really love halloween and if we were in town for it, the house would be totally decorated. Maybe next year I'll decorate the heck out of the house and hope kids show up. If not, my house will just look awesome.
