And my sister is being very secretive. She just called and asked what size bathing suit bottom I wear. I answered, and asked why. Her response? "Nothing, don't worry, bye!" and hung up. She had her up-to-something voice going too. This oughtta get interesting.
Bathing suit bottom?! LOL. I would have told her "Depends on the bathing suit."
Peter Pan: "You know, your hair is on fire."
Me: "Yes. It happened after a recent trip to Neverland."
Peter Pan: "Well, you can dunk your head in the pond behind us, if you want."

Your job doesn't involve calling him at work with retarded questions is it? Because I've heard that position is overstaffed....
LOL!!! The worst is my own department calling on their day off to ask about their schedules. Almost without fail, they'll call at the busiest times or when I'm about to leave. Or else something like "So and so and I were going to meet up for drinks but I lost their number, can you get it for me?"
anyhow I had to concede that I couldn't fix my phone line at home and on Monday I get to wait for AT&T from 2-6 pm. Which means they'll come 7:30, right Kelly?
The sibling has been dying to go to DLR so that's where we are going tomorrow! Have a great weekend everyone since I still don't have web access at home and don't want to keep draining my data plan. I'm missing out on all the ios7 fun in the meantime!
When lurking on various threads, it's really hard to not jump in and correct erroneous statements on medications and such. There are some places it's just not worth making a presence in, though! It would be like jumping into a pack of wolves lol
I was at work all day, woke up and immediately had to take my kitty to the vet. I woke up and my pin cushion was in the middle of the floor missing pins. So I called the vet in a panic saying he was acting normal but I think he may have eaten some pins. They told me to bring him in right away. After an hour, they did an xray and it came back that he didn't eat any pins, so that means they're somewhere in my carpet. I'm glad he's ok, but the price tag sucked pretty hard. $222 to be told he's just fine. Xrays should be half off or something if it turns out that nothing's wrong. I got paid yesterday and that took pretty much the whole thing.
I saw the score from the game and I'm glad we won one since we lost on Monday.
I'm sorry Amanda. Sick animals can be pricey. Your vet sounds pretty expensive. When Darren's dog was walking hunched over and in visible pain and we found part of a chicken bone we had to rush her to the vet, thinking she'd eaten it. (She hadn't). An emergency visit, x-rays, antibiotics and medication to replenish the good bacteria in her system was still only about $150.
Nice, a well pet exam is $52 and the one view xray was 169.45. It's VCA, we've taken all of our animals there. They're the only vet in the area really besides the urgent care and that would have been much more expensive. He rarely has anything wrong with him though, so visits like this are far and few between. He is however due for his rabies shot next month, so I'm sure that'll be another cheap trip.
