The kitty and dog share a bed? That's so cute!! We only have beds for the cats, and we only have two beds... one of which is heated and in very high demand this time of year. Really should invest in another.
We used to get those big pillow type beds for the dogs from Costco, but the cats kept peeing on them. Jerks. The dogs sleep on the sectional in the living room if they're not in bed with the hubs.
I don't even see the sun during my work cycle haha
Glad I'm not the only one with that problem! I thought it was just ours that were complete turds in that regard.
One of our males does it and has pretty much made it clear to his brother that it's ok too. We catch him all the time and he doesn't seem to care. Our older male lives outside now because he doesn't like the two newest additions to the family.
I think you should try that excuse Amanda. Then you will have lots and lots and lots of time to curl under a blanket and watch movies.
I had to get up early to go to an interview and of course it's my night to volunteer at the legal clinic AND I have to grocery shop. Bleh. I don't want to have to leave the house again, but I will. I can put off grocery shopping until tomorrow though.
The kitten has her own bed in the living room but has decided that the dog is her new BFF and insists on sleeping with her. The dog is submissive enough
to (grudgingly)put up with it.
Haha. We have a queen-sized bed. Most nights it's two humans, two labrador retrievers and one cat vying for space. Eventually, Isis (yellow lab) will give up and go sleep on the couch in the adjacent room where Osiris often sleeps on the back of said couch.
Anubis (black lab) has learned to "fake sleep" to try to pretend he can't hear us or feel us trying to kick him off the bed. Stubborn dog. Ysobella just likes to lay on whatever is available, whether it is the bed or your chest or your hip.. weirdo cat.
If there are no dogs on the bed, Osiris will come cuddle up to my stomach. If there is only 1 human in the bed, all the animals try to pile up.
In the winter, it gets easier because the electric blanket goes on and the dogs don't like the extra warmth, but the cats do. LOL.
It looks a lot like this from my point of view:
Peter Pan: "You know, your hair is on fire."
Me: "Yes. It happened after a recent trip to Neverland."
Peter Pan: "Well, you can dunk your head in the pond behind us, if you want."
Lost Child of Neverland since 1996. ~Favorite Hero: Peter Pan. Favorite Villian:Malificent.Favorite Ride: The Haunted Mansion.~
Chuck has taken to sleeping on my headboard lately even though there isn't a lot of room for him there. My headboard has a storage space in it, so it's wide, but I put my books on it. Always fun when he rubs on them in the night and knocks them over. Then I get awoken to books landing on my head.
