First overnight back is done! It was a nice, smooth shift. I'm completely exhausted, though, since I didn't want to take Sophia to daycare yesterday so I didn't sleep. I still don't want to take her today, but I've got to get some rest. They take great care of her, but I still hate dropping her off!
Kitty came running about 45 minutes ago. He was warm and dry, so he was hiding out somewhere. He was in for 10 minutes and wanted back out. Of course it's not raining anymore, so we let him back out.
Step dad's plane lands in about half an hour, then he's home for at least 3 weeks if not for good. Gonna be a loooong day. I gotta find my recipe for Chicken Parmesan, I decided it sounds good for dinner.
It sounds like Sophia's in good hands, get your rest!
I love mine, Kelly. It is sooooo cute! I also have a Santa Mickey, Snowman Mickey, and a Ghost Mickey. You can't resist them because they are so adorable. Whenever I put them out for Christmas or Hallowe'en I get so many compliments.
The warm new mommy feeling.....I remember that. I couldn't put my daughter down. She is now 20. I can still remember her first birthday as if it were yesterday. Time flew by so quick.
Amanda!!! Post that Chicken Parm recipe!!! Pretty Please? I have one also.
Lol, I've bought more pins for Kelly than popcorn buckets for you Cinder
Kelly, yes the complete corn dog. And all because I rushed out of the house without any snacks. A small bag of peanuts from the stores would have been $4 and the corn dog was $6 something so I figured why not.
I'm feeling pretty good. I slept well, I think because I had been up for almost 24 hours. I only got to see Sophie for less than a couple hours before coming in to work, but she seemed to be in a good mood. Sean texted me right when I got to work that she was already asleep! Hopefully he has a smooth night with her.
I'll buy my popcorn bucket on my trip if I decide to get it, no need for Brandon to hunt that one down for me. He is awesome at getting pins for me, though!
I'm so happy you got to try the deliciousness that is corn dog, Brandon!
I'm starting to think that whenever I manage to coordinate a time to visit DLR with you, Amanda, that I might need to make sure I get a hotel room with a kitchen so you can cook for me.
When I was walking in to the hospital, there was the cutest little orange cat! It would let you get close and do a sad little meow, but if you got too close it would run away.
Hey, I'm good with cooking for ya lol. Much cheaper and tastier than anything you can get in the parks.
We had a cat like that once at my work. It was cold out and nobody was in the store. I heard the doors open, so I turned to greet what I assumed would be a person coming in. Instead, there was the cutest little dark grey and white kitty just staring in. She took one step, the doors beeping (thank you broken alarm system) scared her & she ran off.
