My mission for the day is uniform purging. The community theatre I was very involved in for my teen and early adult years is performing A Few Good Men and is looking for Navy/Marine uniform donations. I've the husband's permission to send off anything he'll never wear again. (I'm saving one of everything for posterity, anyway.)
We have so much stuff! They'll have enough to do this and South Pacific by the time I'm through. Well, the men's roles anyway. ;)
^I'm sure they'll be so pleased to be getting so many authentic uniforms.
my mission for tonight is to not fall asleep with everything in my place turned on.
I was tuning into 4 things tonight...Ducks game, The Following, Angels game and Clippers game. Only the Ducks game was anywhere near relaxing.
Yotes had their tails kicked be the Wings tonight.
Just looked up the weather for this weekend - should be BEAUTIFUL! I can't wait!!
Haven't had any bad bouts of nausea since the one night, and that was following some work drama so was probably exaggerated from stress. *fingers crossed*
This night was way too stressful. Either that or I'm losing the ability to relax.
I'm recording statistics at work now and despite the patient census being significantly less than last week, the volume of calls remained the same.
I keep thinking about tracking the calls on overnights. It's always the same few nurses calling constantly for things they should NOT be calling for.
Today I had 3 nurses calling me about the same exact thing and within minutes of one another. It's not uncommon and really gets to me.
Alright off to sleep. I succeeded in not falling asleep with the lights and tv and computer and tablets and whatever else still on.
Yep, they do that to me a lot. Especially during codes, which is really frustrating since if we're answering the phone that means you're holding us up from making the drips, sending you the drugs, etc. *sigh*
Good night!! 7 hours until I'm heading to dream land.
