Brilliant! 2 elevators are down at this facility.

Did I not warn about this impending doom last week? They're going to hand carry patients then.

Wow. That's bad, even by our standards.

Re: OMG! Let's Talk On Lion!!

Tonight would normally be the last night of my shift cycle, but I am covering tomorrow night for my overnight counterpart. I'm regretting it since I have a hockey game (that I'll probably only go to for one period), then I work overnight, then leave and have to drop my dogs off at my parents (~2 hours round trip with traffic), then pack, and try to sleep until Sean gets home and we can head off to DL. I'm excited, but really worried about nausea! Hopefully I'll be too busy to notice, and I won't get sick in the car.

Judging by the first couple hours of this shift, this is going to be a rough night.

Hopefully it hasn't been too rough a night, Kelly.

I managed to not be so stressed. However I'm deeply upset so that's no gain at all.

Hope your day goes better, Brandon!!

I know I'm in for a rough end of my shift tomorrow since the cario surgeon I can't STAND has a case. I'm hoping it won't start until I leave. Since this shift is extra, I'm working as little of it as possible, so just 10pm-6am. I gave my tickets away to tonight's game as they were better spent on someone who will spend the entire game there. We were only going to do a period. I just need to relax a little since tomorrow is going to be insane.

Hoping to fall asleep soon. Good morning!!

Your surgeons are horrible people as well? Most of ours expect to be waited on hand and foot when they've finished cases. They just retreat to their fancy lounge and expect their staff to bring food for them.

If you are worried about nausea, see if you can get your hands on some candied ginger. I know Trader Joe's sells it. Being a life-long sufferer of motion sickness, it works better than dramamine in a pinch.

I make my own now, it's quite easy and cheaper.

They have candy ginger at the Asian grocery place down the street though I guess that doesn't really help

Our food supplier prepared a whole slew of new products for us to try out. That fried chicken was soooo delicious and even better than Plaza Inn's or Knott's! It's covered up by the chicken leg but the spicy hamburger party was really good too.

*sings* I mowed the lawn, but the lawn won. I mowed the lawn, but the lawn won.

The backyard decided to stay wet, so only half my yard is mowed. I suppose, to the HOA, the important one (front) is taken care of. Stupid wet grass.

That chicken looks tasty. Mmmm. I love fried chicken. Who is your supplier?

You have me singing Clash songs now

US Foods supplies food to my facility and these new products they're rolling out are amazing! I have to count carbs but everyone said all the stuff I didn't try was excellent as well.

It only took about 2 hours. Much more flavor than the stuff I've gotten in stores. Spicy and sweet. Good for the tummy and making your brain forget it is motion sick or nauseous.

Yes. About half of them are horrible people, and the most horrendous of them all is doing a heart tomorrow morning. Ugh.

I don't like the taste of ginger... but it's better than the taste of vomit! I need to try and find some.

I'm going to buy some, and if it does the trick, I'll try and make some homemade stuff!! Waht's your process?
