All's well here relatively. Just bought my meet and greet ticket. Went outside to get something and discovered it's raining. Feels like the rain in Florida, so not the best, but hey, it's water, I'll take it.
I've been catching up on some the drama coming out of the convention- there was that Zombie Walk incident, there was an assault, and last but not least bitter clashing among prominent blogs over how one of them rationalized away breaking convention line up rules.
A sad thing myself and others noticed this year is how much more hostile and rude people are. Like people shoving you away and not saying so much as a word. People lighting up cigarettes when surrounded by Fantasmic level crowds, stuff like that.
People in general are nasty, and in groups it just gets worse. I know I get pretty grumpy in crowds, and the mood tends to affect me and I become part of the problem. I try to be courteous but after one too many rude encounters I throw my regard for others out the window (to an extent... there are some levels I will not stoop to).
Sean just called and said he's heading home from work, the clinic he was at has no patients to x-ray, so I won't have to drop Sophie off at daycare which is always nice.
We're going out with friends to dinner tonight. After the meal I'm coming straight home, Sean is hanging out at their place to party then spending the night with some other friends. It's my weekend to work, so no fun for me!
At least it's rainy out and supposed to stay that way through the weekend.
Just booked a reservation for Storytellers breakfast for Saturday the 13th at 7am. Hoping we'll be done early enough that I can get to Downtown before too huge a line develops for the HM purses, but I care more about my family meal than getting a hold of that so if it doesn't happen, oh well.
So excited to take Sophie to the meal! I know she won't remember it, but the memories for Sean and I and the pictures will be priceless!!
Brandon, if you do go get in line and max out your cards, will you be willing to do a payment plan? I jest of course but those bags are amazing looking. I'd get a locker at work just so I'd have an excuse to take it out and show it off lol.
Ugh. Debt. I've never paid a single interest penalty on a credit card (I pay them off every month), it would pain me to do so. I have my house, and my student loans. Student loans will be the end of me, and they all came from just pharmacy school! I had full scholarships up until then.
