Mmmm...gluten free + sugar free cookies!!

Lol, Kelly! I don't think lying down and falling asleep instantly counts as skills!

Are the cookies yummy at all? Or not even worth it?

I'd say it's a talent to fall asleep like that! A gift from the gods, even!

I usually fall asleep on the way back from DL if I'm not driving.

The gluten free cookies aren't bad. Of course I need to tell myself that

I can almost never sleep in the car or on the plane. I feel bad for Sean, anyway, if I try to sleep in the car on our drive to/from the parks. Then he'd have no one to argue with!

Re: OMG! Let's Talk On Lion!!

Falling asleep instantly is totally a skill. My husband possesses it. I'm okay sleeping while travelling. I do have a hard time falling asleep, normally, though. My doctor says the average person takes anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes to fall asleep. It takes me 45 to an hour most nights.

A couple things, sleep-wise, I am good at is never falling asleep while driving. I've never even nodded off. But, I will also pull over or get a room should I become overly tired. I don't snore, but I have caught myself drooling if I'm really comfy (usually on my hubby's shoulder. LOL)

I do have "mom ears", ever since we got the pets 4 years ago. I used to be able to sleep very deeply. Now, I sleep much lighter.

I also take a very long time to fall asleep, if I sleep at all. Then once I do sleep, I'm usually up after a couple hours tossing and turning.

I don't snore unless I'm sick or super exhausted - I caught myself snoring the other night lol

I've never fallen asleep at the wheel. That's a terrifying thought!

Despite lots of code blues, making for lots of phone calls and drips, it was a pretty smooth shift! I think I'm getting an ear infection, though, which really sucks.

Hope everyone has a happy Thursday!

    Lol!!!!

well I still don't consider it a skill and it certainly doesn't prevent me from having stressful dreams. Last night's had me getting in trouble at work because a nurse misinterpreted what I said over the phone.

Kirsten, if only it were possible to be paid to fall asleep, lol!

Yeah I read that yesterday. People were joking that Tebow framed him to open up a spot for himself.

Things like that make me shake my head in wonder. You have the world at your feet and just throw it away.

I feel left out on your conversations since I've gone back to work and I'm going to bed earlier.

I hate work related dreams! You end up waking up all stressed out, so it's like the sleep was pointless.

Hehe well I'm usually the only one here after midnight, so I just talk to myself!

    How's work going?

Re: OMG! Let's Talk On Lion!!

I just saw someone in a thread describe a "job in the real world" as a salaried job with work that you have to take home with you, "depending on the level of education".

Hmm... so I guess despite being a pharmacist with a PharmD, I don't have a job in the real world because I'm not salaried (I REFUSE to be) and I don't bring work home with me (why would I want that?). Silly me! I thought I had a grown up job!
