TB's post in Stink's kindy thread made me think.....(see the smoke?).......
There's a bunch of us here who are going to have kids become freshman at the same time, MY GOD that's scary(thanks Heather)
Here high school is 9th grade, I know for other's it's 10-12. How many of us will have kids starting High School () in 2008? aka 2 years(how the hell did that happen?????)

Well, 12 or so years ago on a magical night a child was conceived. Flash forward 14 years and POOF there ya have it, a high school freshman
meh- already there.
My oldest will GRADUATE in 2008 or soonerI am way too young for this!
My next oldest will be a sophomore/junior in '08
oh, and Ian will start as a freshman in '08- yes, so I do fit the club.
Not that I really have to answer but yep, high school in 2008 here, too. Middle school started this year
Actually, 2008 is when my youngest will start Kindergarten, too... I think. She'll be almost 5 when the 2007 year starts but she misses the cutoff so she'll start K that year when she's almost 6. Scurry thoughts. Thanks a lot.

My daughter will be starting kindergarten Fall 2008 too. Hopefully I'll have my time-slowing device created then.

I have one more year of them being in the same school until Bailey is a Junior! Here they have elemntary from K - 6th...the a seperate school for all 7th graders..another school for 8th graders..then 9th - 12th is High School.
And with the kids two years apart...I'll be driving all over town for years!

I'm 33.
Davis is almost 16- they are hoping he will graduate early, but 2008 is his "year" so to speak.
Braden is 14- going to be a freshman- unless they hold him back because he is horrible with school.
Ian is 12- starting 7th grade next year. He can't wait to take Spanish.
and Rose is going to be in First grade.......
I'm ONLY 33! and yet when I look at the kids I feel at least 40!

Why did I not put that together that she and Bailey were the same age...hmmm!
Poor Bailey...at the end of last year they did the Human Reproduction classes. He hated it...actually made him physically ill. We were talking on Thursday afternoon about when they would cover that subject here in Kansas...he hoped it was 4th grade as well so he wouldn't have to go thru it again.
Well...Friday I get a letter in the mail from the school....announcing that the 5th graders will soon begin their Lifecycle classes - aka Human Reproduction!
Dum dum dahhhhh!
Poor Bailey....he literally turned 5 shades of green when I told him!
Little does he know that someday this will be his favorite subject...but we won't go there!

My son will be a fresman in high school in September 2008....
Oy!!! We better start saving now for private high school costs!!! He already told us he doesn't want to go to the local public high school....
BaileyKat my son started those classes last year in the 5th grade too and we just got yet another notice from his health teacher that they will be going over more "Lifecycle" topics this semester

My babies will be starting first grade in 2008.
My oldest is in 6th grade and they had those videos and such starting last year, too. But this year was funny, they did them the last 3 days before Winter Break and then sent all the kids away for 3 weeks to ponder it

I'll be a freshman.........in college in '08.
My first two "babies" just turned 18 yesterday and will be graduating this June. My third "baby" is already a freshman, and my last "baby" will be a freshman in fall of 2009. But hey, I'm hanging in there by a thread! LOL
