Bare Escentuals/Sephora, tried anything new?

Sigh...I think you ladies are a bad influence on me. I really need to stop reading these threads here...cause now I'm thinking about trying the photo finisher...

It's a good thing the Sephora store is an hour away, or I could really do some serious damage more often.

The Sephora in my area is a pain in the rear to get to so it is the Free Shipping on orders of $75 or more that does me in. Gotta love the 3 free samples too.

I use the Boscia blotting papers in green tea. I really like them a lot. How do the Clean and Clear ones compare?

I've only used the Clean & Clear ones but they work like a charm. I'm shocked at the amount of oil they soak up. Those and mineral veil are my best friends.

I got the impression it could be used for one set but it wouldn't harm if the gloss happen to get on the other set or nether regions of um..well...someone else. (Can I type this on here?)

Oh and I bought the tinted mineral veil and big tease mascara, haven't tried it yet though. This is starting to turn into a weekly habit...

I'm the queen of oil-blotting papers- unfortunately. My skin is just super oily.

I prefer the linen/paper ones without powder. I personally don't like the blue Clean & Clear ones because they feel too "plastic-y", but they work.

Right now I'm using Paula's Choice. (It's from this woman who tries almost every cosmetic product & rates them. She has a book "Don't Go to the Cosmetics Counter Without Me" & her site is cosmeticscop.com. I don't always agree with her ratings, but I like to check out what she says before I buy. She needs a new edition of her book, though!)

In a pinch, you can always use the paper toilet seat covers...before you use them!! I do this ALL the time, especially on a hot day at DL! Sounds gross, but it works!

DMom- That description for the lip gloss is...dirrrty. There are like 4 colors I want to try, though!!

No Sephora doesn't sell MAC. They have their own stores and you can also find them at stores like Dillards, Saks and I think Nordstrom.

Well, I got a sample of SmashBox's PhotoFinish Primer. I'm underwhelmed. It feels interesting going on, but it does nothing for my skin, and definitely doesn't keep my makeup for gathering in the fine lines (they're NOT wrinkles) around my mouth and eyes.

I bought the slightly more expensive version with the SPF and other stuff. I'm a sucker for anything with an SPF in it that I put on my face.

I've been doing that seat cover trick for years! It's amazing,..... and free!

When I was in Disneyland , I supersplurged and bought the Bare MInerals starter set. I LOVE THE BRUSHES! Holy cow, they are fantastic! I got the medium kit and it matched pretty well. Blue under eyer bags no more! it came with some vitamin lotion stuff too.. but I can't tell if it's making me break out or if it's the female time break outs. Anyone else have this problem?

They also had this rad sparkly color called true.. has anyone tried that either?
