I think Summer is a perfect time for milkshakes. Got any good recepies to share?
Here is my only advice. Get some Breyers Ice Cream (Because it is always soft) and then eat a bowl full of it slowly. By the time you are half way through, it should be soft & milky enough for you to just stir it then consume it like a milkshake. I kid you not it makes the best milkshake. I always get their strawberry & chocolate kind. I really do suggest doing it.
Get in car.
Turn key.
Drive to nearest Arby's.
Order Jamocha Shake.
Banana Milkshakes
2 bananas, cut into pieces (this is a good way to use overripe bananas)
1 cups milk
1 tsp vanilla
2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 cup ice
Put in blender and whizz up! Add a little extra milk if the shakes are too thick.

My all time favorite milkshake is a pineapple milkshake....yummmmy
At home:
Scoop of ice cream into a blender, some chocolate syrup, add some milk (little at a time) and blend until it is the consistency you like (add more milk if necessary)...
We also do:
Scoop of vanilla ice cream in a tall glass pour root beer over that...perfect on a hot day.
Boo!

I'm not a big fan of root beer or coke floats, but what I love, and is really refreshing for the summer is sherbet and 7up floats. Its also tasty to whizz those two up in the blender with some ice for a faux smoothie!

I am an Assistant Manager for my local Starbucks. With the new rollout of Banana and Coconut this summer, we have coconut syrup. Customers are allowed to purchase our big bottles of syrup. There is a sku number on the bottle and they sell for 6.95 each, which is really cheap. All you need is a pump, which you can get at a bar supplies store or a restaurant supplies store. Just screw the pump on and you're ready to go.
So anyway, just ask for a bottle of coconut syrup and go get some vanilla ice cream and maybe some bananas with a little milk and you should have yourself a nice banana coconut milkshake.
Remember that the syrup is a concentrate and you probably will never need to add more than 4-5 pumps. A Venti/Large creme based drink that calls for coconut uses 3 pumps of cocunut for a frappuccino.
